I have not been able to reconnect them after we replaced our WIFI router. Didn’t help when a cell phone update disabled the Phone speaker ‘connection’ to the Netsee app. My phone can’t play the ‘Bonding’ tones used to link the cameras. Haven’t found any helpful troubleshooting tips yet. /: ### 2/5 — No manual function for the camera *2019-08-10, version 3.2.4* DO NOT LOSE POWER OR REMOVE CAMERA FROM THE APPS DEVICES! you will never be able to re connect camera to the app ever again, learnt the hard way and now have to go return the camera to JayCar ### 3/5 — Easy to setup - but limited functionality *2019-06-28, version 3.2.2* The camera and app were very easy to setup - the binding screen is a little odd (asking for the password you your wifi router from within the app) .... but once I had found that it all worked. The problem with this system is that the motion detector is far too sensitive ... basically it takes a new 15 second video every 15 seconds (since the wind moves a leaf in view or the sun goes behind a cloud). There are only three sensitivity settings - which don't seem to make any difference. ... so you now need to scroll through 5,760 15 second clips for a day if set for 24 hour use. Motion detect really needs to identify on much bigger objects to be useful. I wanted to use this as a security camera system - but don't think I can put up with constant vibrate alert on phone (it flattens the battery as well as being annoying) ### 3/5 — Room for improvement, but not bad! *2019-05-18, version 3.2.2* I managed to set up my camera to the app within 5mins.. the only thing I did wrong was keep my phone on silent when I was pairing the camera to the app. The camera picks up sounds from your for to connect. Some improvements could be made.. 1) send a notification the camera detects motion. 2) the alarm only sounds once.. it would be good if the alarm kept going until no movement is detected. 3) the ability to send straight from the alarm recording file.. instead of recording the recording, then sending. Only negative is the motion detector is too sensitive, even on the lowest setting. Also, App needs the option to set more than one alarm timed setting. To all those struggling to set it up beware 5ghz on your router. I get the message, ‘network abnormal ‘. The camera itself if still connected to home wifi , I just can’t access it. I have another camera which continues to work well on a different APP so it’s not the WIFI. They do work. However, having my WiFi hacked along with the cameras themselves from people in Wuhan (where the cameras come from) obviously means somebody on the app is taking advantage of our personal details. Looks cheap too *2019-10-26, version 3.2.4* If I could give it zero stars I would but to write a review it’s a minimum one star.Worst product ever! Don’t waste your money buying it. Worked for a couple of minutes the first time then when it disconnected so we could put it where we wanted it to be, it wouldn’t re connect. It wouldn’t even let me log into the account with the correct details I registered with and requested a Chinese telephone phone number from me to verify my details. Being in Australia and not in China, I obviously don’t have a Chinese number! Cannot operate this thing in any way I’ve tried. Tried everything it will not work ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2019-08-18, version 3.2.4* The set up process is really complex. Once you getting to the pairing stage it sends out an audio signal to do the binding. Instructions tell you to turn up your volume when do long this bit it really hurts your ears. When you get through this you find that the app does not have the features shown in the manual. This is a big problem because if says you can flip the image if the camera is upside down. After 1 hour, of looking the feature and others is just not there. As I this is my situation you just can’t use it. So it doesn’t do what it says and the setup is really trying. Try something else and bypass this really useless product. ### 1/5 — Don’t Buy *2019-08-08, version 3.2.4* It keeps going OFFLINE. I am a Carer for my elderly mother. She lives about 20 minutes’ drive away. I was depending on this camera to help me watch over her whilst I am away. I have to go back and spend a Long Time trying to reconnect to WiFi network. Very stubborn. It takes many tries and is obstinate. It is hard to reconnect to get it back ONLINE. Waste of money. Cost me in trips to get it to work. I can not connect the cameras at my new adress with my new phone nr. Please help. Used previouslly without any kind of problem, its a great product and i am verry happy about it. ### 5/5 — Setup CPVan *2019-01-19, version 3.2.1* This software works well once you understand to give it time to reset it self, if you screw up the setup. I spent a whole afternoon trying to bind the phone with the camera, no luck, resetting and resetting still no luck. I then put it down after deleting everything in the Netsee software, reset the camera, unplugged it from the power and pressed the reset button again, left it alone all night, plug the power in the morning and restarted again, it Connected and bind first try.
