### 5/5 — Standout Recommendation

*2026-06-12*

Most mobile SSH clients are just basic text boxes, but NetShell is a deeply integrated, full-featured server management suite designed explicitly for advanced iOS capabilities. Most mobile terminals only allow you to type raw text. NetShell builds a graphical user interface (GUI) on top of your server data Docker Control and Swift Charts. Visual Network Topology MappingWhen connected to local Wi-Fi or networks, the app acts as a highly advanced scanner. Man!

### 5/5 — Woah

*2026-04-21*

Update: The dev adresses most issues quickly. The new update is substantial. This app has really neat UI and the UX was good but is now even better. A lot of things are explanatory at the right level and indicative of things when things dont work or are configured wrong.

Well done, thanks for making this!

**Developer response:** v2.0.2 is out feedback if you can on a different post to keep your previous one. Thank you - NetShell Dev

### 5/5 — C’est bien mais faut une Maj pour fixer le bug des SSH Key j’arrive pas à la rentrer

*2026-04-12*

Sinon l’appli est génial 100% gratuit

**Developer response:** v2.0.1 is out feedback?

### 4/5 — Cool app

*2026-03-20*

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.1 — 2026-07-21

NetShell 3.0.1 - Redesigned, Inside and Out

The biggest visual and usability release since 1.0.

A WHOLE NEW LAYOUT
Every screen was redesigned on a new adaptive layout - a bolder Home, card grids for your network and servers, and true multi-column layouts on iPad and Mac instead of a stretched phone view.

SERVER STATUS, UPGRADED
A fleet overview shows N-of-M online with a health ring and fleet-wide stats, and richer server cards surface Load, Memory, and Disk with the actual figures. Servers that need attention rise to the top, and tapping a card opens the full detail view - performance history, system info, SSL, quick actions, and Ask AI.

APP PASSCODE
Unlock NetShell with a typed 6-digit code as an alternative to Face ID. Set, change, or remove it in Settings > Security - stored securely on your device.

PASTE YOUR SNIPPET LIBRARY
Build your whole command library on your computer - or have an AI write it - in a simple text format, then paste it in once. Sections map to categories, and iCloud syncs it to every device.

BIG TRANSFERS, NO LIMITS
A real transfer queue for SFTP and SMB with per-file progress, cancel, and retry — and much smoother large-file handling, including previews of any size.

TERABYTES, FINALLY
Storage readouts auto-scale everywhere - KB, MB, GB, TB, and beyond - across servers, Docker, files, and the performance charts.

RESIZE THE TERMINAL LIVE
Change the terminal font size right from a session - tap the menu and go bigger or smaller instantly, no trip to Settings.

SETTINGS, REORGANIZED
A clean hub of category screens with a true sidebar layout on iPad and Mac, improved data export, and full-page Privacy, Terms, and Support.

LATEST AI MODELS, ALWAYS
Claude (Opus 4.8, Sonnet 5, Haiku 4.5), GPT-5 and o-series, current Ollama builds, and on-device Apple Intelligence - and the model list refreshes itself, so new models appear without waiting for an app update.

Plus dozens of polish fixes from a full usability review - accurate performance-history time ranges, richer device fingerprinting, resilient terminal sessions, and clearer forms and empty states throughout.

### 3.0.0 — 2026-07-02

Version 3.0 is built on a single principle: your keys are yours alone. Not ours. Not the cloud's. Not anyone standing between you and your servers.

A VAULT, NOT A TEXT FIELD

Your private keys are generated on your device and sealed inside the Secure Enclave-backed Keychain, guarded by Face ID. They are never written to disk in the open, never pasted into a form twice, never handled by us. Generate ed25519 and RSA keys in seconds, or bring your own — then use them on any connection with a single tap.

ENCRYPTION THAT EVEN WE CAN'T BREAK
Your keys travel between your devices end-to-end encrypted through iCloud Keychain. There is no copy on our servers, because there is no path through our servers. Only your devices, holding the only keys that matter. That isn't a setting you turn on. It's the only way NetShell works.

NO CREDENTIAL EVER LEAVES UNGUARDED

We moved host verification into the handshake itself. Your credentials are no longer sent first and trusted later — an unknown or impersonated server is stopped before a single secret crosses the wire. Unknown hosts fail closed. You decide what to trust, every time.

A SHIELD AGAINST YOUR WORST MOMENT

A destructive-command guard stands between a tired hand and a catastrophe — intercepting commands like rm -rf, DROP TABLE, force pushes and system shutdowns before they reach the server. And when you step away, the app locks itself behind Face ID and waits for you.

Faster discovery, a sharper network map, on-device Apple Intelligence, and a major battery and reliability overhaul round out the release.

This is the most secure way to hold the keys to your infrastructure on iOS. Welcome to NetShell 3.0.0

### 2.2.0 — 2026-05-21

NetShell 2.2.0 - Find every device around you.

Your Bluetooth tab is now a true nearby-device scanner. Smart TVs, AirPrint printers, Chromecast, Apple TV, HomePod, Sonos and Spotify Connect speakers,
Hue and HomeKit hubs - all of them show up alongside Bluetooth LE peripherals in one list.

  What's new:

  • Multi-channel discovery - Bluetooth LE + WiFi mDNS in one tab. Catches devices that were previously invisible to a Bluetooth-only scan.

  • Live vendor identification - vendor names resolved live from the Bluetooth SIG's canonical registry (~4,000 companies). Updates itself every week.

  • Recognises your iCloud devices - your own MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch now show their actual names instead of "Unknown device", using iOS's
  own pairing-layer resolution.

  • More device types - TVs, audio devices, input devices (keyboards / controllers), printers, medical devices, and FAA-mandated Remote ID drones each get
their own classification driven by the SIG service catalogue.

  • Saved devices remember everything - when you save a device, NetShell now captures the full discovery context (vendor, source channel, mDNS service, IP
address, raw advertisement bytes). The detail view surfaces it all, and pulls live CVE data from NIST NVD on every saved device.

  • Clearer vulnerability reports - device-specific CVEs separated from Bluetooth-wide weaknesses (KNOB / BIAS / BLURtooth). Every report is honest about
what was advertised and what couldn't be classified.

  • Reliability - major memory-pressure fix for long Bluetooth scans. The scanner now coalesces advertisement bursts so it stays stable across 30+ minute
  sessions.

Bug fixes and small polish throughout.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-05-20

NetShell 2.1.0 - On-device AI and smarter network maps

  Apple Intelligence - On-Device AI
Free, private AI that runs entirely on your iPhone. Pick it in Settings → AI Assistant. Requires iOS 26 and iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Nothing leaves your phone.

  Ask AI From Anywhere
Long-press a Docker container, tap a server card, swipe an alert, or pick a topology node - get instant AI analysis without leaving the panel.

  Smarter Network Map
Subnets now cluster into visible blobs. Devices are colored by what they DO (gateway, NAS, printer, server), not just what they are.

  Topology Engine Rewrite
Barnes-Hut quadtree physics. The network map stays smooth up to 200+ devices where it used to choke past 100.

  Zero Schema Risk
All new features ship without touching your local database. Your connections, snippets, and history are untouched.

### 2.0.3 — 2026-04-24

v2.0.3 — Reliability Update
SMARTER ERROR MESSAGES
Every error now tells you exactly what went wrong. No more confusing technical jargon. "Connection closed? Please reconnect." Not "NIOCore.ChannelError
  error 0."
DISCONNECT DONE RIGHT
When you close a terminal session, it's clean. No false "unexpected disconnect" alerts. Only real server drops trigger notifications.
95 ERROR TRACKING POINTS (IF OPT IN IS ACCEPTED)
Every error in the app is now identified and tracked so we can fix issues faster. If something breaks, we know exactly where and why.
BUG FIXES
Stability improvements across SSH connections, Docker, file transfers, and port forwarding.
