This app provides the server needed for testing with the free Network Speed Tester Client app for iOS and tvOS.

Make sure the device running the server app is close to your WiFi router. Then use the client app on any device and move around your house to measure WiFi performance.

There is also a combined client/server app available for the macOS platform called Network Speed Tester.

Works as claimed even on an old iOS15.8, easy to set up, cheap price .

Some remarks anyway (the missing star 🙃) :
- The app do NOT show the wifi-network-name (ssid) the device is connected to … Not so much practical when you need to test/monitor multiples wifi-networks/configurations .
- An history/statistics panel would have been helpful too in case you need to test/monitor multiples wifi-networks/configurations, will make easier to compare the results after a change .
- The server do NOT stay up on background, so you have to keep the app displayed on the screen to monitor your network(s) . Maybe it is an iOS15.8 limitation ? (I don’t know) .

A good tool anyway 🙂
