### 4/5 — Structure of the folders

*2025-12-29, version 2.28.3*

Hi, i found the App via ChatGPT today.
I was looking for an App with Flashcards which can be connected to OneNote, and I think I found one 👍🏼.

What I don‘t like so far is the structure of the folders in the „card‘s“ menu. In OneNote I use the pages and underpages a lot, but the app ignores them and shows every page and underpage at once. I would like to have the same structure as in OneNote.

All in all a Great App so far.
I hope that you will continue your work on the app in the future.

### 3/5 — Good but unaddressed bugs when used with Evernote

*2024-03-25*

I have used the app extensively for last three years for law school memorization. never used any other app of this kind so no comparative judgment, but on its own, I have two cons using with Evernote: 1. syncing has been a problem from day one and never been improved over the last three years. 2. display issue when used with iPhone in the night mode. There are work arounds for either bug so, not fatal but after three years of no improvement, it is annoying.

**Developer response:** Thank you! ❤️

### 5/5 — THE BEST

*2024-01-28, version 2.25.1*

My first ever review on the App Store after having downloaded so many products throughout the year. HANDS DOWN THE BEST APP EVER!!

### 5/5 — Excellent complement to obsidian!

*2024-01-14, version 2.25.1*

I use NeuraCache to learn multiple subjects in my obsidian vaults! It sync with obsidian sync is smooth. It even renders mathjax which is very useful! Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — This app got me all As

*2023-12-10, version 2.25.1*

This app is the main reason I got all As on my alevels. I used to make physical flash cards and it would take me hours after school. Once I found this app I used it to turn all my notes into flash cards and it saved my days worth of work and made revising 10x easier. I seriously recommend it to everyone.

### 5/5 — Great Study Tool

*2023-12-07, version 2.25.1*

This is a useful study tool that integrates well with my Obsidian notes. It’s effortless to import question cards from my Mac and study them!

### 3/5 — Problème récurent à l’import

*2023-11-17, version 2.25.1*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I dont see obsidian integration

*2026-01-27, version 2.28.3*

sadly cant use 😔

### 1/5 — OneNote Sync is Broken

*2024-04-26, version 2.25.2*

Won’t sync with OneNote at all.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-01-04*

I have a professional version of the app. Synchronization is performed only once a day. The application changes the order of the text in the notes…

### 1/5 — Markdown Table Support?

*2022-09-28, version 2.22.1*

Such a basic feature should be available at that price.

| Where | Are |
|————|-——|
| Markdown | Tables |
| :-( | ?|

### 1/5 — Constantly Crashes and Has Major Issues

*2022-01-04, version 2.19.3*

Frequently running into problems where the app just crashed upon opening, no matter how many times I try. This persists even if I reset the device. I have only been able to solve this by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which is a pain, considering it typically takes around an hour before I am faced with this again.

Regarding the app itself, I wanted to use it to make flashcards, but its integrations are very poor. In my case, I was using notion, but of the large database of flashcards I made on Notion, only a few were recognised (despite me religiously following the given instructions), and even those are problematic and unreliable

### 1/5 — Great Idea but…

*2021-12-11, version 2.18.1*

I have downloaded Neuracache with great hopes as I thought I had found what I was looking for: spaced repetition. However, once everything was sync with Evernote and Cards created I just realized it showed random words with no useful purpose. Working in the financial sector this app would have helped me recall past events and patterns and therefore useful photos and notes takes. Unfortunately the cards it shows are useless are they are single random words extracted from daily debriefs. However, the idea is great and I thank you for your efforts to create this app. I hope in the near future you will make improvements thus to unleash its real potential which is enormous.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2021-02-11, version 2.11*

My one note will not sync on this app I’ve tried and looked at tutorials nothing works

### 1/5 — Seems to be broken

*2020-08-27, version 2.4.0*

I like the concept and the product looks like it could be a great tool but it’s broken. Fix it and I’ll change my review. Thnx.

### 2/5 — Great idea, poor design

*2023-09-03, version 2.25*

I love the idea. Keep your notes where they are. Just add a hashtag and/or some formatting to existing notes and you get flashcards.

It works. (Unless you are trying to use the app on multiple devices, like an ipad and an iphone. There is no way to predict which cards will be shown when.)

My main issues with the app are design and usability. The metaphors don't make sense. The app is not accessible and looks bad.

I find the shape shifting bubble on the Home screen so ugly, that I cannot open the app without my stomach revolting. It's a bizarre visual for such an app. Why not choose a metaphor, that is closer to the concept of the app? It's about cards and repetition and progress.

The Decks screen doesn't show decks but is plastered with color-coded hashtags. Some are light green, some are dark green, some are light red, some are dark red, some are purple. Some hashtags are relevant for reviewing cards in Neuracache, others or not. I find this approach unusable. I want decks that look like decks and behave like decks. At least stop calling the screen "Decks", if you are not using the concept of decks.

Neuracache is not usable enough to be useful.

### 2/5 — How can I turn off shuffle?

*2023-03-16, version 2.24.5*

Love this app but I don’t like how it shuffles my card and it doesn’t do them in order like how I need them to be

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best long term memory app !!!!

*2026-01-31, version 2.28.3*

Such a great app for learning AND retaining info. It’s great!!!

### 5/5 — The Best

*2026-01-10, version 2.28.3*

Probably the best flashcard app right now in the market.

### 5/5 — 10/10 with Obsidian

*2025-10-06, version 2.28.3*

Pairs beautifully with Obsidian—instead of rewriting flash cards elsewhere, a quick #flashcard and a few —- and my note turns into a flash card for NeuraCache. This saves a ton of time and makes studying far easier.

### 5/5 — Most perfect flash card app ever

*2025-07-31*

I’m a commercial pilot and flight instructor who has tried every single flash card app available (paid and unpaid) and NeurCache is so much better then then competition it’s not even fair… use the other apps if you want to do it the hard way, I’ll be on NeuraCache	- I left this^ review almost a year ago, and I am still using and loving NeuraCache, it is the best

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words 🙏❤️

### 5/5 — amazing app

it’s very helpful to refreshing your memory (languague, knowledge )

### 5/5 — AMAZING app!!!

*2025-03-16, version 2.28.3*

NeuraCache integrates smoothly with Notion and has really streamlined my workflow. It’s going to save me many hours this year! Support is great too. Wish I had found this several years ago! Highly recommend this to any fellow med students!

### 5/5 — Works perfectly for active recall of my Obsidian notes

*2025-01-02, version 2.28.2*

I had already created a lot of markdown notes in Obsidian. NeuraCache allows me to import them and turn them seamlessly into flashcards that I can use for active recall and procedural training that I need as a pilots, without much extra work. It also renders my LaTeX formulas. Simply awesome! I had taken other apps like Anki cards into consideration but NeuraCache seemed to be the solution with least extra work on my side for using my existing notes. Also I am very thankful for the developer responding to a request and adding a functionality to change the font size of my flashcards some time ago.
