The joystick did not respond to anything i did. People taking Neuriva (older people) may not know what a joystick is! ### 5/5 — Brain gym *2024-08-10* The brain gym is fun because I like puzzles. However, the script says it will assess your ability to identify, visualize and scan, but as I understand it’s more about speed. I have over and over for weeks in the same level because the tiles are there, I can visualize the tile, recognize the match by scanning but the board won’t let go of those particular tiles. Why do they hold up half the board and give me a low score over and over. My dissatisfaction is in when I have cleared the board (say 3.4) and it promotes me to 4.0 if I’m not fast in this new area, it sends me back to the previous level. How is a person supposed to learn something new when not given the chance. For example. If I’m in grade 1 and I aced my class and is promoted to grade 2 and don’t catch on instantly I get sent back to grade 1? I would never graduate from school. Nor learn anything new. That’s your logic? I should be allowed to stay on the same tier until I get it. I’m 66 yrs old not 16. This process means to test me as stupid. Fix that in your next version please. When I get into the app after the energy surge, the NEURIVA App suddenly Frozen and all my 30 day challenge were all deleted.. so I have to do all over again. I believed whoever made this UI/UX systems should be updated or there will be some type of Fail system to keep the User from not losing its track from practicing their cognitive and neurological functions . I am not quite sure how effective these Tests would be and if taking Neuriva supplements would be able to help a certain person , when the Brain Gym was failing and cannot provide the necessary effective regimen 😱😩😤😳 **Developer response:** Thank you for your review, CFN2000. The instructions are unclear on when to determine it a picture or a spoken word. It marked my answers wrong a few times based on how I understand the instructions. I just happened to peel off label and saw offer for getting app with no cost. I seem to be signing up to pay because of the info required. I’m not comfortable giving some of that info until I ascertain if it is indeed free to get AND free to use I have the code but dont see a place to put it. Will be deleting unless I obtain some instruction that assures me it’s free to use and for how long. The Neuriva vitamins are very expensive as it is and not additional cost should be solicited by its maker but we live in greedy Country so many companies find ways to exploit its customers🤷‍♀️ But not me , I am done with Neuriva and switching to another vitamin maker . ### 2/5 — Scanner does not work *2024-03-26, version 1.4.8* Scanner rejects the barcode from my Neuriva then sends me to a site to buy a bottle. Or sometimes the picture is unclear of what it’s going for such as a recliner/easy chair I could not come up with that one. ### 2/5 — Poorly Designed Games *2024-03-02* The fact that this app is meant to be paired with a cognitive supplement has me feeling cynical. I can’t help but notice that the way your progress is tracked is by performance in games which offer you more points at higher levels. Trouble is, everyone has to start at the lower levels. So even if you perform at a higher level from the outset, it’s going to look like you improved because you get more points for doing the same thing. I can’t help but feel it’s by design, to make it seem like the supplement is helping more than it probably is. The aesthetic isn’t very appealing and the games are all of sketchy quality. The crossword, for instance, sometimes includes the answer in the clue? It’s not very streamlined, either, making inputting answers a chore. The coloring activity is too much of a nightmare to deal with, coloring when you want to zoom or move the picture. I’ve gotten to the point where every day the workouts are “Ugh, not that one.” Which seem to far outnumber the tolerable games. I thought this would be THE brain training app because it’s Neuriva, the brain supplement. My account “when logged in” says I need to upgrade to premium. I had already upgraded and enjoyed the games. Checked my subscriptions on phone and sure enough I was charged for subscription until June 20th. I tried cancelling subscription and canceled the “marketing site”. Every time I finished a test I needed to close the app & keep refreshing to move onto the next level test. When I went to finally get my score after completing all 7 brain games no matter how much I refresh it, it won’t show me my score. This makes me sad as I have purchased the vitamins and was looking forward to this free test trial to choose to purchase the app or not. I come on here to find everyone has given this 4.5 stars...
