## What is NeuroPath?

Most apps are built to take your attention. NeuroPath is built to give it back.

NeuroPath is a habit and recovery tracker grounded in how your reward system
actually works. Instead of nagging you into compliance, it shows you what
drives your behaviour — when urges hit, what precedes them, and which habits
are genuinely holding.

WHAT YOU CAN TRACK

• Habits — daily, weekly, or verified automatically from steps and sleep
• Recovery — streaks for explicit content, social media, gaming, shopping,
short-form video or phone overuse, with urge and trigger logs
• Focus sessions — timed deep work, linked to the habit it belongs to
• Sleep — bedtime, wind-down reminders, and sleep read from Apple Health
• Fitness — weight, body metrics and activity
• Screen time — choose the apps that pull you in, set your own daily limit,
and get a quiet nudge when you reach it

WHAT IT SHOWS YOU

• A dopamine balance score that explains itself — every point is traceable
• Pattern detection: the times of day and situations your urges cluster around
• Weekly reviews and monthly reports built from what you actually logged
• A personalized starter plan from a short onboarding assessment

NOTIFICATIONS THAT KNOW WHEN

Most apps remind you on a schedule. NeuroPath reads what actually happens to
you. If your urges cluster at 7pm, it reaches you before that window opens.
If your slips land on weekends, it checks in Friday evening. If your day is
going badly, it says so while you can still turn it around — and if there is
nothing useful to say, it stays silent.

Every notification type is off until you turn it on, and each is capped at
one per day.

THE ACADEMY

Eighteen short lessons on the brain chemistry behind habit loops — dopamine,
cortisol, serotonin, oxytocin, endorphins — each with diagrams and, in several
lessons, a brief activity that shows you the mechanism rather than just
describing it. Plus a free library of curated reading and talks.

BUILT DIFFERENTLY, ON PURPOSE

• Your personal best is never erased. A relapse resets the current streak and
nothing else — the record stands.
• No loot boxes, no currencies, no artificial streak panic. This app is about
escaping manipulative reward loops, not adding one.
• Notifications are off by default and capped at a handful per day, by design.
• No ads. No third-party analytics. No advertising identifiers.
• Screen-time data is processed on your device and never leaves it.
• Delete your account and everything goes with it, immediately. No retention
  window, no archived copy.

PREMIUM

Everything above is free. Premium adds 60- and 90-day trend history, pattern
detection, monthly reports, unlimited recovery trackers and the full Academy.
Every new account starts with 7 days of Premium.

NeuroPath is an educational habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device
and not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. If you are in
crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-16

This is a big one — the largest update since 1.0.5.

TODAY, REBUILT
A completely new home screen: one clear "Right now" suggestion instead
of a wall of cards, a weekly recap, and your onboarding goals shown
back to you from day one.

THE ACADEMY, REIMAGINED
Every brain-chemistry lesson now has diagrams — several you can drag
or tap to explore. Some lessons open with a short activity before any
reading; what you feel in it is explained afterwards, using your own
numbers. Lessons end with a clear summary instead of a wall of text.
End-of-lesson quizzes are also new.

RECOVERY, SIMPLIFIED
Logging a slip or a trigger is now one flow instead of two, and a
personal best is always shown alongside your current streak — a slip
resets the streak, never the record.

NEW
• Redeem a promo code directly on the upgrade screen
• Rename a habit from its detail sheet
• An optional Islamic Mode in Settings surfaces fasting-aware and
prayer-anchored challenges (Ramadan Reset, Fajr Anchor) — nothing
calculates prayer times, and it stays off unless you turn it on
• Sleep logging, and a redesigned notification feed
• Focus session notifications on iOS now show the actual end time

FIXED
• A rare freeze that could force-quit the app and sign you out
• Several bottom sheets that padded incorrectly around the keyboard
• Faster tab loads — each tab now opens showing its last known state
while it refreshes in the background

Thank you for testing with us. As always, we read every review.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-26

- Premium now delivers your full trend history and monthly reports, exactly as promised.
- Focus sessions and screen-time tracking run smoother, with no more stalling.
- A round of navigation and sheet fixes for a more consistent feel getting around the app.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-24

Automatic logging
• Exercise habits verify themselves from your active minutes, and your weight logs itself from Apple Health.
• Every entry now shows how it was recorded, so an automatic log is never confused with one you marked yourself — and you can correct either.

Reminders you can act on
• Per-habit reminders with "Done" and "Not today" right on the notification. Taps made offline sync next time you open the app.

Recovery
• A new "Saw something" trigger for urges the environment set off, instead of filing them under "Other".

Rebuilt for iPhone
• A floating tab bar that minimizes as you scroll and returns when you scroll back. Press and hold it to slide between tabs.
• Native spinners, alerts and the scroll-wheel time picker throughout, with haptic feedback on every control.
• Consistent spacing, type and corners on every screen.

Fixes
• Sign up and log in no longer break when the keyboard opens — no more white corners or content under the Dynamic Island.
• Academy lessons no longer hang on a spinner after you complete one.
• The activity graph now tells a day that evened out apart from a day with nothing logged.
• Removed the empty gap under the 14-day recovery calendar.
• "Got it" in settings detail sheets is reachable again on small screens.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-19

Two things are new, plus one fix that only shows on a real device.

1. Right now (dashboard)
Tap the "Right now" card below your habit stats. Pick a feeling and
you should get a single suggestion — a habit you already committed
to, a focus block, or something to do on your own. Check that
"Ask again" gives you a different angle, and that "I'm not sure"
still returns something useful.
Nothing you tap here is logged, so it should never affect a streak
or show up in your pattern insights.

2. The Academy, grouped into tracks
Open Brain Chemistry Academy. You should see five headed sections
with progress counts (e.g. CORTISOL 0/3) rather than one list.
Confirm you can open the FIRST lesson of every track without
finishing the previous track — progress now runs within a track,
not across the whole catalogue.

3. Bottom sheets and the navigation bar
On any sheet that opens from the bottom, check the last button is
fully tappable and not sitting under the system navigation buttons.
This is the fix that needs a physical device — it does not
reproduce in a simulator.

Also worth a look: the walkthrough is now 8 steps, with "Right now"
as step 6.
