To hear the updated pronunciations, please reimport the book or switch to a different voice that has not been used for that book. To the developer, I know VoiceOver is not high on many peoples lists of things to make work with apps like this but finding good reading applications with good voice options is rare. I can think of only two other similar applications with acceptable VoiceOver accessibility in one case and admirable levels in the second case.
