It doesn't show road conditions due to weather. The camera page has potential, but I want to click on the map. I'm very dissatisfied, I'm glad the full version was inexpensive. ### 2/5 — Out of date. Data available for free elsewhere. *2024-11-23* The opening map shows incidents from over a month ago and “planned” construction from the previous summer. Not useful. Also, weather data available free from the National Weather Service and NOAA requires a subscription here. The app was much more useful when NDOT did it themselves. ### 1/5 — I hate this app! *2023-12-21* I don’t need camera views of roads I’m not using. I need a map showing the weather conditions on the roads in Nevada and around Tahoe. What happened to the former NV 511????? ### 1/5 — What happened to the old NVRoads 511? *2023-12-07* I loved the old app because of it’s simplicity. It showed the whole state at once. I could see any road I wanted in the state and what the weather conditions were on that road- adverse conditions, snow tires or chains required, closed , or no report. It was awesome! And easy. One glance and I knew whether to take a trip that day or not. I knew whether to take a different route or not. Used to be good. *2025-07-05* Typical cash grab by some govt crony and whoever is bribing her. Used to offer a lot of functionality and was clear and easy to use. Now everything requires a paid subscription. It’s possible that when you zoomed the map to the location you’d like to view, you didn’t select the ‘redo search in this area’ button. Can you please try this and let me know if it works? I was frustrated that my NV DOT app was so slow to load, and my wife pointed out how fast and feature packed this app was.
