Who is seriously paying £150 a year for a mobile game.   This is beyond nuts.    What a shame, 12 of us downloaded this and we’d have been happy to pay but not £1800 for the lot of us, that’s just mental.

Game is amazing. Seems like some bugs need to be fixed. Such as if the AI misunderstood you and you try to tell it… unfortunately it still burns an it pretty much just keeps going with out addressing it. I wish it had an actual visible dice that popped up when you have to roll. Just for the authentic dnd feel. 
Love the story I’m in, and how it gives you something to start of. Such as where you should go or what you should try to do to continue the story. Other AI dnd apps lack this and I’m wondering where I should be going or what I’m doing. 
WHY I am rating it a 4.. thought about a 3 tbh but you can tell they try and do put work in. So a 4. 
10-15 energy is a slap in the face. It’s over so quick. Went to see about purchasing the game. But the PRICE vs energy is outrageous. I was thinking 40 a year for a decent amount of energy but noooo. 
If anything let me watch ads for energy or side quest in some way or somehow. Only complaint I have. If address this app could go places fast.

Played for the initial amount of energy I was given. Like everything it’s all about money, about maximising profits and getting people to dig deep. 

Game was okay and I’m sure it has great potential but there’s no free way to gain energy pay of don’t play simple. 

Saying in app purchases is a bit of a lie it pay of its pay or no play.

I was enjoying the game I even found myself paying for some energy . However upon changing campaign I noticed my merchant equipment vanished that I spent hours grinding gold to afford. They no longer show in the sell tab of the merchant or in the arena . Shame really all that effort lost. The game has serious potential, if energy was more available through other sources , guild and pvp and perhaps events with unique rewards , etc . Unfortunately I won’t be playing again until item bug is fixed .

Love this idea the stories are super cool, the characters that are premade are cool, don’t get me wrong I like this app, HOWEVER the paywall to do anything custom or to get energy is insane, also love the arena, again however being able to just do 1 run then having to wait half an hour just to be able to play it again is pretty rough seeing how it’s not just for the one character you just used but for any characters you play with, I’d love to be able to give this 5 stars but due to the complaints I’ve put in this review I can’t recommend this app to anyone without an update fixing them in some way. So I’ve just downloaded the game and it seems pretty good so far, no issues, except that I wish there were other ways of gaining more energy, like ads or something. The inviting friend thing is a good idea but it takes a while for some people to see and refer a code back. Also I would love if there was some actual little battles if I’m accidentally thrown in a position where I have to fight, instead of it just happening. So a little combat should be added I think with a few special moves that matches each characters specialty. And I would also love if there were new skins and characters each season or something, preferably with a larger variety please. Overall the game is okay and has a good concept but a few changes could make this a GREAT game that I would genuinely play so often.

The game itself is very fun but they could change it from a 2 star game to a 4 star game by allowing you to choose your own image for your character from your photo gallery, eliminating the energy requirements for story progression and better explaining the arena mechanics. Overall its a pretty fun game but this is only a baby step towards what AI powered D&D apps could potentially be in the future. 
I’ll give it credit for its soundtrack, sfx and lite-app nature. It runs great, doesn’t drain your battery and has nice atmosphere and graphics. The class kits well accent characters that you devise (at least for me it did) and the game definitely has potential. Here’s hoping the devs loosen their grip on in-app purchases tor energy and start catering towards the crown of D&D solo players with purchases that feel more meaningful and with a sense of belonging for what the app actually accomplishes. 
2/5 stars, could be higher if the game gets overhauled.

Story is interesting so far, realistic rolls and consequences for bad rolls, all fun however the limitation for playing without paying for extra energy, worth 10 minutes a day, but seems to require a monetary investment to actually “play”

Hello! I am not just reviewing the game here but also the devs and customer support after have several discussions with them. The game is amazing! I like it. The AI and build your own character is fantastic fun! I noticed a couple things and brought it up to customer support and devs - they are so kind and professional. They are working on fixing a bug and then discussed other concerns with me that resolved my way of interpreting them. If you like DnD or any fantasy game, definitely check this one out! Have fun with the AI and use your imagination…it will make the game so much more fun!

### 2/5 — Needs work there are a lot of issues

The concept of the game is good, but the AI handling checks and failures needs a lot of work.

The first problem is how wildly the AI swings when deciding what type of check should apply. I tried to deceive a guard and it used mental stats instead of social. In another situation, I tried to look for a path to the second floor and it used a physical check instead of something mental or perception-based. The logic behind these decisions often makes no sense.

The consequences for failing checks can also be ridiculously extreme. While looking for information around town, I was suddenly ambushed in an alley, knocked unconscious, thrown into prison, and had equipment I had just acquired taken away. There was no combat, no opportunity to react, and no way to influence what happened.

I also failed a physical check while trying to cross a gap, which is completely fair. What wasn’t fair was the game deciding that I also somehow lost my map in the process. The map was inside my bag. How does failing a jump suddenly make an item disappear?

I have no problem with failed checks creating setbacks. That’s part of the game. The problem is when failures constantly result in exaggerated or completely unrelated punishments like breaking or losing items, while the game is also frequently applying the wrong checks in the first place.

There is a good concept here, but the execution isn’t consistent enough yet. Instead of making failure interesting, the current system often just makes it frustrating and kills the desire to keep playing.

**Developer response:** This is a genuinely useful breakdown, thank you. You're right on both counts: the logic deciding which attribute a check uses isn't sharp enough (deceiving a guard should be social, searching for stairs should be mental), and failure consequences can escalate far past what the moment calls for, including taking items that had nothing to do with the action. Both are real problems on our side and we're working on them.

We added Epilogue Mode to every adventure. Reach "THE END" and you can choose to stay in that world and keep playing: same character, same companions, same gear, for as long as you like.

We also put gold into the story itself. When someone pays you or a bribe costs you, the gold in your purse actually changes, and you can spend it at the Merchant later. (New adventures.)

And in the Arena, you can now spend gold between waves to thin your deck. We rebuilt the combat screen to be bigger and clearer, and fights run smoother throughout.
