Recent version of the app requires e-mail to access but doesn’t recognize/support subscriptions purchased via Apple App Store or offer a “restore purchases” option.

Spent the entire day trying to get one magazine after paying for a 1 year subscription.  Dont waste your money. Drive and pick up your copy locally
