HOWEVER, now that i want to take some money out of my account and transfer it to my linked bank, the app crashes every time. I’ve emailed support multiple times and not gotten any response. I put a significant amount of money into newday and not having the ability to transfer it back out is a serious issue! ### 3/5 — Won’t link my bank account *2021-07-17* It’s being useless and has had the same glitch for over a month. Support keeps emailing saying it should be fixed. It potentially could be my bank’s security, but seeing that I just need to link a new account from the same bank. Especially with the withdrawal problems but since you’re here give it a try and use my referral code X449R6 and we’ll both get 5 dollars. ### 1/5 — I can’t withdraw my money *2019-09-09* I tried to withdraw the money in my account and the withdrawal was cancelled without notifying me. When I try to check my account it says “account is currently under review” and it won’t let me access anything in my account. I tried reaching out to customer service for help and there is no one answering my messages. There’s also no phone number available to talk to anyone. ### 1/5 — Don’t invest your money *2019-08-12* Don’t invest your money here. Because once you do. You never get it back. I’ve been trying to take out a measly 60$ that I have put in with them to try them out. And I still haven’t been able to remove now for well over two weeks. My account has been “pending” for that entire time. There is no phone number to actually call. Just a chat support which does not help very much. I would suggest for you to use Vanguard, Fidelity, Schwab they all now have ETF and Mutual Funds that are environment friendly. ### 1/5 — STRAIGHT A** *2019-06-18, version 1.0.31* I literally can’t put into word how and this app is. Not aligned with my values. I can’t login to the app. I can’t reset my password. My emails to support are not replied to. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-08-01, version 1.1.5* If I could give it zero stars I would. The app never works. Can’t get into my account and nobody responds back to you. There’s no website to go to to get information about your account either. Very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Find another inv app *2021-05-04* I started using the Newday app in July 2020. The automatic withdraws from my bank account were fine until November. Whatever their computer system problems were, no withdraws came out of my account to be invested from November 2020 through February 2021. I was afraid whenever they got the problem fixed, I didn’t know if the withdraws from my bank account to Newday would continue as normal or if the four months of withdraws that didn’t happen would happen all at once. When I closed the account at the end of February they sent me the balance in my account. Since then Newday will not stop depositing and withdrawing micro amounts of .21, .14, .06 cents. The only way to communicate is through the app, there is no customer service line where you can talk to a person. I had to send another message today about this for the third time!! So at first everything was fine, then when I wanted to invest with them they couldn’t take my money now that I want to stop investing with them they won’t leave my bank account alone. ### 1/5 — Great idea - horrible app *2020-11-09* I want to like this app! But the interface is awful and there is no way to really get in touch with anyone at support. I was not able to add money in on the day I wanted and have not been able to remove my money either. So basically the app has stolen the money. I’m in the process of reporting the company for fraud unless I am able to get my account closed and my money back into my account. It’s too bad because I think the idea is great and the actual investors seem OK, but the app is unbelievably bad. It’s absurd to not be able to see a graph of your investments over time or to make trades within a business day. Save yourself a headache and skip this one! ### 1/5 — Was working great... *2020-07-23, version 1.0.64* I’ve had a Newday account for about a year now and it has worked great until about a month ago. I have not been able to see any of my investments continuously says “Network Error”. I am very concerned ### 1/5 — Don’t bother, stay away for your own good *2020-04-20* Underdeveloped app, clumsy/bad user interface, made no money on their recommended investments as the broader market was consistently going up, and customer service is non-existant. I closed my account months ago and can’t get anyone to respond and send me my tax documents (between email and the website chat function, I’ve contacted them no fewer than 10 times with no response). It’s a bummer because the idea sounded good and I support what this company is purportedly doing, but save your time and the heartburn this company/app produces. ### 1/5 — Scam!! It crashes sometimes and also I can’t withdraw my money back... when I tried withdrawing by transferring from individual account to link bank account and after I press continue it changes to (from bank account to individual account)... what heck is going on... I’m beginning to think this is a scam. I decided to unlink my bank account so that it won’t automatically recurring deposits... I just have to find a way close my account... I would like to give 0 star but it won’t allow me... so 1 star is the lowest I could rate it... I have a robin hood account and a stash... so I figured I’d try this one. First of all, it looked a little too underdeveloped but I wanted to give it a try because of the brand message. After having it and using it regularly for a few months it started to glitch out, anytime I tried to invest more money it would say, “account is pending”. Which is weird because I have them all of my personal information from the start and was using it and depositing money regularly for months! Then I got in contact with support, which is VERY slow to respond to you and when they do, there is no real problem solving going on. Just sorry and we’re looking into it. No time frame, nothing. Then I said let me cancel, because I was so fed up with waiting to use this app. Finally I got a response, “we’re sorry to see you go, but we’ll start the process of closing the account”. (Again, no timeframe) Lastly, when I tried removing my funds out of my account it kept saying, deposit money into NewDay. The app needs lots of work, support is lacking, and honestly, I wouldn’t touch this app with a ten foot pole. To this day my money is still sitting in their account (pending). I will update if they can transfer it out and back into my bank, until then, do not trust this company. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Makes it easy to invest my values *2021-10-29* The app provides an easy way to invest in portfolios in alignment with things I care about. Works smoothly enough most of the time, maybe a timeout issue here or there. If you want to invest in Fortune 500 companies that are responsible but don’t want to do any research, this is the way to go. ### 5/5 — Conscious Investment *2020-07-16, version 1.0.64* Newday allows me to put my money where it matters! The portfolio choices are fast and diversified. The flexibility for managing my investments is easy to figure out and act upon. I used to use Acorns and it drove me crazy, although their mission was good, it messed up my personal accounting, it was overwhelming. Newday gives you a lot of we’ll researched investment options, get articles and research to keep you informed. Newday is changing the way the world invests with purpose and impact. I have 1,000 stock on a diferent app and is hard to do the trade since the system doesn’t do it automatic...Newday investing is the future ### 5/5 — Strong App. Strong Concept. *2020-02-09* The concept of Impact investing has always interested me. I’ve never known how to start going about it. I invest in individual stocks but I’ve never been able to do the homework to learn about the companies I invest it. With Newday they do the homework, and offer you portfolios that are really aligned with what I hoped to achieve in investing. Hope they plan on having more portfolios in the near future. It’s unique, gives back to the community, invests in the right companies and I get a return on my investment. I used to use acorns but investing small change was so minimal...it didn’t do anything. Now I rather put in more money each day into Newday simply for the social good aspect. The financial gain is a add on benefit, the bigger picture is doing the right thing. There’s a personal touch to the app design and use that makes me log in everyday to check out the news they provide. Definitely up there with my favourite finance apps. My recommendation to them is have less on the portfolio tracking page, it can get too cluttered. I’m curious how they’ll integrate their upcoming Impact Banking feature. ### 5/5 — Good app and great concept *2019-06-14* I’ve looked into Impact investing on my own last year but I found it way to hard to diversify my portfolio, since my investment capital isn’t a lot. Newday’s no account minimum and minimal fees is what drove me to use them.
