When you go into the app, you see that it’s incredibly hard to navigate and you need to know the names of the builders and their communities to see what homes are available. Please update this and make it reflect your amazing website which allows users to filter the houses based on different parameters the user inputs. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-07-04, version 1.1* Can’t even search on a map. Certainly not for those looking for new homes who haven’t narrowed in on a development already. Wait, isn’t that the point of NewHomeSource? I’d ask the team to go back to the drawing board here. Allow customers to search their current location via the map or list — not having to hunt and peck through a list of predetermined locations and then know a builder. Not intuitive. Further, don’t require an account to browse. Like the website, I should really only need an account if I’d like to save communities to my favorites or receive email updates about new communities near me. Whatever you decide, just please, know who you’re designing for before you design. ### 1/5 — Requires an account *2019-05-25, version 1.1* I don’t mind signing up for an app..... if I at least get a chance to browse as a guest FIRST. Simple features like searching where you are looking on the map just don’t work instead it snaps back to locked location, very outdated ui. Something changed and now I can’t get past the first screen. Avoid getting this app until developers state it’s fixed. 1 star in current version since not useable. What good is a new home search app when there is NO map feature? How the heck are we supposed to magically know the communities by now? That’s the whole point of using this app is to NOT have to do that research. Utter fail. Never been so amused by the pointlessness of an app esp for a web company that has been around for awhile. Updates fast. ### 5/5 — Solid app *2020-07-10, version 2.3* The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate. I like being able to use the map feature to see and adjust the radius of the search to see what streets/cities the radius will include. Nice app! ### 4/5 — Ehh *2019-05-26, version 1.1* Unless you are an expert at new home builds in the area you are looking to move to, the search is not easy to use. I thought I could search locations on a map for new homes but it makes you choose from a list of builders. Not intuitive. Needs a lot of rethinking designed around consumers. ### 3/5 — Was great, then started glitching *2021-04-26, version 2.15.1* I loved this app. I am so into Zillow so I thought this was the perfect app for new houses. Unfortunately, I cannot get past the login page. Whether I sign up with a new account or just try to login, it just takes me back to the starting page. It used to work, and I really enjoyed it. Also, adding the feature “only available plans” would be stellar. ### 2/5 — New update deleted all my information *2022-04-08, version 2.22.0* This has been a great app until the last update. All the saved homes, communities and builders were deleted.
