I've checked my settings several times to make sure they are enabled and in fact they are. When you get alerts and click on them, it does not take you to the story related to your alert. My biggest complaint.... A headline alert does NOT take me to the story! The alerted headline opens the app leading the user to dig for the story. Personally, I lose interest immediately and close the app. If this is their way to expose all stories....
