I only have “Breaking News” alerts on and have turned off all other categories, yet I am receiving constant notifications throughout the day about mundane news. I am finally leaving this review because it’s 2AM and I have gotten about 20 alerts in the last 30 minutes about a rocket launch. I don’t care!!! This isn’t breaking news and it’s the middle of the night. Lastly, the left column in dark gray that shows the different sections wastes a lot of space. I believe the sections would be better across the top. Need more revenue then you already have ### 1/5 — Rapidly Declining *2024-06-30* The quality of the news content has dropped drastically in the past few weeks… but that’s not the real problem. The app itself launches a live stream of their news broadcast… the video starts playing automatically with sound, regardless of user settings (I have it set to disallow auto-play). If you exit the app and try to use your phone, the obnoxious live stream window stays open. The far left, dying newspaper is out of favor and considered dangerous to the largely conservative Space Coast. It constantly attacks GOP elected officials like popular Sheriff Ivey and is opening the danger of turning the area into another Portland with riots and looting by demanding Ivey release video of an arrested a criminal attacking 7 guards trying to book him into the jail.
