Radar is horrible. Only 2 hours future unless you go to 24 hour future cast There are many better weather apps ### 2/5 — This app has no purpose *2026-07-21* Previously, this was a great companion app for Oklahoma users to remain informed about local weather events, which often can be severe. But with the Version 8 update, the app is now just an off-putting, less readable facsimile of the native iOS weather app, with objectively worse font choices and near-indecipherable weather-status icons. No more David and Lacey either. At least it kept the radar map, so it gets a star for that. ### 3/5 — Latest update is a minus *2026-07-19* Latest update has several flaws. Traveling out of state, can no longer swipe the forecast location to other saved places. The new layout lost 60% of prior functionality. Can’t even change to our home location of Oklahoma City. Also, the latest update deleted all previously saved locations. ### 3/5 — Huge file!!!! *2026-05-27, version 7.1.0* This app is way way too big!!!! It’s the biggest space taker I have on my phone. It’s at 95gb. Why!?!? ### 2/5 — Bag radar *2026-04-25, version 7.1.0* The weather radar only goes forward future 2 hours or a 24 hour version which is useless. A future radar tat is at least 6 hours would at least be useful for planning purposes ### 3/5 — Unreliable when it counts *2026-03-31* This app used to be great. The radar and notifications still work really well. If you want to watch a forecast video from hours ago, that works too (after watching ads, and rewatching them if you decide you want full screen). What no longer works is when you want to watch live videos, for example during the 10pm news. Used to, you could watch the news live on the app, but not anymore. Also, when the weather takes over the station because there are tornadoes, you can’t watch the live news. Moments like that are the whole reason I have this app. Why would you take that off? Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — Prepare to need more storage *2026-03-06, version 7.0.3* I had to delete This app because it ended up taking 74GB of space on my phone… the app, when it would work, was ok. ### 1/5 — What happened?? *2026-03-01* My family has relied on this app to stay weather aware and safe for years. The warnings and especially the live broadcast have literally saved our lives and property before. Within the last two years something has happened to this app.. it started with making me watch ads before viewing the live broadcast during emergency events where minutes and even seconds can really count. The app started crashing constantly, and then the ads got even worse, making me watch a 15-39 second ad multiple times throughout a critical live broadcast. The PIP feature stopped working and for the last few months the app won't even open at all. Just sits on the loading page eternally. I've updated, deleted and redownloaded it multiple times, and I've contacted support repeatedly as well and apparently the developers no longer care about this app being functional to keep people safe during storm season. I don't really know what else to do now but this is extremely disappointing. ### 1/5 — Dysfunctional *2026-01-11, version 7.0.2* Why is this app so dysfunctional with new iPhones? Been waiting for an update to smooth out the glitchiness but it hasn’t come yet. The radar barely functions and you cannot see the direction the storm is going at all much less after it has finished showing you up to the current time. That in itself takes way too long! This latest update is awful. Does not actually give weather information unless I can somehow stumble into the correct video. This makes me want to delete this app & go with another source for my weather ### 1/5 — WHY DID YOU RUIN THIS APP? IT’S USELESS NOW! *2025-04-25, version 6.9.33* I used to love this app. I depended on it every day. Unfortunately, I had to update to the newest version when I got a new iPad and I absolutely DETEST the fact that I'm now FORCED to use a portrait view instead of the landscape view that I've used for years. Portrait view is limiting in many ways, including the fact that if I'm charging my iPad, it's awkward to use in portrait mode because of the cable. I've tried to get used to it, but I absolutely HATE it now. I don't invest in an iPad to use it like a huge, bulky, awkward phone. Now, with tornado warnings throughout the state, I discovered there are NO videos on the app except the forecast from 10 hours ago! There are live weather watch videos running on YouTube, but they're no longer available on the app. So if my TV goes out during a storm or I'm not near my TV, I'm out of luck. To top it all off, you took away the "future radar". Really? Updates should be enhancements. They shouldn't reduce functionality. Regrettably, I'm going to have to abandon this app and use a different one. Let me know, if you come to your senses restore the functionality that you took away from your users. Especially since the latest update added 2hrs future radar! A lot of info is crammed into a small space. Like being able to add other cities, where my loved ones are, so I can be aware of the weather they are dealing with without having to txt or call. Radar is ok. Like the option for NWS radar too! The only negative I have is I wish it would send more notifications. For example say we are under a tornado watch, I would wish it would send a notification about that or like a t-storm warning.
