Every few days , maybe on average after every 20-25 days the app stops responding and hence doesn’t open only . And then each time after these days cycle , I have to delete the app and re install it from App Store .. don’t know if anyone else also facing similar issues . There is no back arrow or button!!! You have to close the app and flush it out of memory to re-load the Home page. Can you guys fix this please? But 2 request: 1. Put an option in settings to remove the live TV screen from homepage. It doesn’t play here in united state and that part of screen goes waste and it gives very odd experience. Also most of the user intention is to just read the news not the live channel. 2. If i give location manually which of course foreign user need to give, then FOR YOU and MY AREA tab give you the exact same content. So that means there is no benefit of 2 different tabs. The explosives used in Phulwama blast case was 200 KG in two Plastic large drums - one Orange Color @ other one blue color. Today you channel is quoting wrongly as 20 KG explosives used in Pulwama which blown out one large size CRPF Bus killing more than 40 Jawans !! Jai Hind !! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Live streaming not available in UAE *2026-08-02* This is the best news app however live video streaming is not available in the UAE that is disappointing. Apps like India Today, NDTV and Republic TV have no issues broadcasting their live video streaming, therefore it should not be impossible for News18 to do. If you start then my rating will be 5. Else it will remain at 1 unfortunately. ### 1/5 — India’s RADIO RAWANDA *2024-03-03* RSS & BJP uses taxpayers (all Indians) money to fund these channels and crushes janta’s voice. They never question the government instead they shower praises on Feku and his tadipaar friend all day long . This news channel belongs to modi’s Oligarch . Modi makes policies that help this oligarch to get rich day by day, In lieu of this favour , his tv channel spreads propaganda against Muslims to keep people engaged in hatred so that they don’t question modi’s government. They take news from Amit Malviya who is the BJP’s IT cell chief, and known for spreading fake news to flare up communal tensions in the country . ### 1/5 — Poor content *2023-10-18* Does not cover all the news , poor content and very slow updates does not cover dynamic and latest hot topics/ news. ### 1/5 — All unwanted notifications with no filters *2023-05-30* You'll end up getting 100 notifications a day with this app as there are no filters which you can tailor to get notifications for. It has no meaning or relevance for us common folks. Actually, the pompous nature of the couple and flaunting of their wealth is disgusting. Enough is enough! But your anchor gets sadistic pleasure in making both the participants to shout/argue at the same time. You people have not seen WION and some other foreign channels how decently they conduct the debate. We have to change the channel immediately when people are made to talk at the same time. Why can’t you just down the fader immediately after giving them the warning? Both the above are good programs but very very poorly conducted. At times it is worse than Republic TV/ Arnub Goswami. I know you people will not respect/respond to our views, but it is our duty to bring to your bosses the noise pollution created by the above two programs. The management should fire the entire IT team responsible for the App and hire new one !! Also the interface is dated ! Kindly update the app from the App Store and do give us 5 stars if you're happy with our service. ### 1/5 — Biased Media *2020-08-18* I was a big fan of News18 Tamil Nadu until the chief editor Gunasekaran was pressurised and resigned from the channel and the series of other great editors and journalists. It’s now revealed publicly that it’s a channel to support ruling only central govt and will do anything to spread its propaganda. It’s no different from the English counterpart channel that forced Rajdeep Sardesai to resign because the coverage went against the owners’ interest. I’ve unsubscribed from the channels’ social media accounts and deactivated it in DTH too.
