Man kann Quellen angeben, bekommt aber dennoch irgendwelche Artikel (Topics) angezeigt, die wenn uninteressant, nicht abwählbar sind. Zudem nerven die langen Ladezeiten. ### 4/5 — News-App mit Potenzial aber erweiterungsfähig. *2024-02-09, version 3.1.4* Die App ist an sich gut aber fehlt hier definitiv noch die Möglichkeit Push-Benachrichtigungen nach Themen und Quellen zu personalisieren. Mittlerweile hat man diese Möglichkeit bei vielen News-Apps. These are solved problems in tech… ### 1/5 — Immer wieder neu *2021-11-17, version 3.0.26* Drei Tage nicht benutzt, alle Einstellungen weg und alle Interessen, Magazine etc. neu einstellen. Nein Danke!!! ### 4/5 — Überraschend gut! *2021-08-28, version 3.0.24* Das beste ist, dass alles in Safari geöffnet wird und nicht irgendein eigenen Müllbrowser. Warum ist es nicht möglich bestimmten Newsgruppen komplett zu blockieren - Sport vor allem?! Was mir auf jeden Fall noch fehlt sind ein paar Quellen: Russia Today, Al Jazeera, Google Top Stories. ### 2/5 — sehr unausgereift, unkonsistent und englisch-lastig *2021-08-14, version 3.0.24* Die Registrierung per Tablet ging schon mal gar nicht. In der App gibt‘s nur LogIn oder Passwort vergessen. Und wenn man voreilig erst die App installiert hat und sich dann auf der Webseite registrieren möchte, wird man wieder in die App geschickt !? Also Registrierung am Desktoprechner - dann die App nutzen - krass. Zu vielen Topics wird nichts gefunden, z. B. E-Mobilität oder Gemeinwohlökonomie oder Bürgerschaftlich / Ehrenamt. Und wenn was gefunden wird, dann bekommt man falsche Treffer aus Zeitungen, die man vorher gar nicht ausgewählt hat, Beispiel „Datenschutz“, erster Treffer eine Ausstellung über jüdische Kultur in einem Provinzblatt, das ich nicht auf meiner Liste hatte. Außerdem werden Quellen verlinkt, deren Texte dann gar nicht ohne Abo der Quelle einsehbar sind. Und der allgemeine Bereich wird mit Profi-Fußball zugemüllt, was ich nirgends ausgewählt habe. Bevor ich es wieder lösche, versuche ich noch ein Topic: „Viel Lärm um nichts“ -:) Schade. ### 4/5 — Noch Luft nach oben *2021-07-06, version 3.0.17* Grundsätzlich gefällt mir Newsadoo gut, die Nachrichten passen gut zu meinen Interessen und werden optisch ansprechend angezeigt. Allerdings hat sich mit dem letzten Update nicht alles verbessert, daher einige Anregungen: - Regelmäßig kommt es beim Start der App (vllt. jedes 3. Mal etwa) dazu, dass der eingestellte Dark Mode wieder deaktiviert wird und die App im hellen Modus läuft, was insbesondere Abends mehr als nervig ist. - Ich bin ein Nutzer, der häufig Artikel auch nur anhand ihrer Überschrift abspeichern, um sie später zu lesen. Das war vor dem letzten Update mit wenigen Klicks möglich, da es ja auch einen Reiter mit den gespeicherten Meldungen gab. Dieser Reiter ist nun verschwunden und muss über das Burger-Menü aufgerufen werden, was für mich ein unnötiger Zusatzschritt ist. Außerdem meine ich, dass auch die Schaltflächen zum Speichern von Meldungen nun einen Input mehr benötigen. Alles in allem könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass Newsadoo auch langfristig die News-App meiner Wahl (als ex-langjähriger-Google-News-User) bleibt, allerdings müssten dafür obige Punkte nochmal angegangen werden. Zur Info: Die App ist auf meinem iPhone 12 installiert, welches auf englischer Sprache läuft. ### 4/5 — Gute App *2021-07-05, version 3.0.17* Läuft stabil und Design ist schick und clean.
