You’re business model does not work - you’re not The NY Times - ALL articles should be free and then with more eyeballs, you’ll get the advertisers to buy banners and have links. You’re business model is limited and the results are terrible. For example, The NY Post is free and completely trounces you in visits, eyeballs, advertising revenue and overall usage and satisfaction…. Newsday: you’re wrong and continue to stay wrong. At some point profits have to be made or your business goes out of business. Don’t tell me that you weren’t warned. Time will tell. ### 1/5 — App works fine but…. But the app size says it’s 126 MB and it’s taking up over 2 GB on my iPhone and there’s no option to clear data anywhere in the app and it continues to grow. They try to push videos on users. Many times I will try to browse apps while listening to the radio. The Newsday app does not allow that. Newsday spins the facts to lend support to its political leanings, and has now deleted the ability to make comments in the top stories area where many people would express their thoughts and opinions on many topics trending in the news headlines. This is no doubt because some of these expressed views are not in agreement with Newsday’s political agenda,... that’s called censorship. Which is the last thing a newspaper should be promoting. I am already logged into the app when this happens. I called Newsday support- not helpful ; tried to report problem to developer through the Apple App Store- no place to report just a page of suggestions on general problems - not the one I’m having. Today I wanted to see the lead pipe map link inside the lead article, and got the pop up ad to subscribe. I’m in the app which I pay for every month and should have access to the links and information. In today’s political climate, accurate information is vital, if I am to conduct an intelligent discussion with someone. As I read the articles; I’m impressed by how Newsday explains how government functions. Opinion is left for the editorial pages & I’m fine with that. Please continue accurate, in depth analysis of current events. For many of us, accurate information helps us to continue learning. Newsday has an opportunity & responsibly to educate the reader.
