It may be good to sprinkle in a word or phrase that is one reading level above and show it as a different color to differentiate and allow the reader to revert to current lower reading level if needed. The very first time I used this app was when I was in eighth grade but I didn’t have Google account at that time I had a class code I believe. When I used it for the first time in 3 or 4 years I clicked “Join” then clicked Google and clicked on one of my Google accounts and it said “Not Logged In, Error logging into Newsela using Google Sign-In. Please try again later.” Then I tried it again and it still didn’t work! Do you have a possible solution or update to this issue? I also became a big lover of Newsela. First, I would have to say a big thank you to the founder of our Newsela. Your app helped me overcome a hard time of learning English, it also helped me did a big improvement on my reading level. Secondly, Newsela brings me a lot of fun to immerse in the diversity of reading, and brings me many interesting knowledge that I never seen before.
