On iPad this application works only on vertical mode so if your iPad is on horizontal mode, the app will be 90° tilted towards left. That is very odd. It should be adjusted with the orientation of the device. Please resolve this and create some widgets as well so that it can be on homepage and we do not need to every time open the application press buttons. 2. Please create a website where your live streaming can be listen of all India radio. It’s a challenging on Windows laptop, and any other laptop doesn’t support apps. There are a lot of other websites who are streaming, but they are not reliable at etc. Prasad Bharti should create a website where people can listen the live radio channels slide Vive Bharti. ### 4/5 — Ragam channel *2024-11-20* I’am an avid listener of Indian classical music both Hindustani and Karnatak. I’m unable to listen to this favourite channel for lay few days, I wonder why? Could you please explain this and re-start broadcasting’Ragam’ channel again and be kind to all listeners. Cannot add favourites in IOS and stops working as soon as the screen is locked. This is vastly improved app now. Please add 2,3,4 hours of sleep time. Thanks ### 5/5 — Great app! *2024-04-18* 2 months back, on a launch of the new version on iStore, there were many issues with the app. I was also facing some of them. But, Akashvani done a good job during the period on fixing of bugs, the app is now running very smoothly. One suggestion- Marking of Favourite channels in live radio streaming page can be added to enhance the user experience. Other things are good. I am listening Akashvani since 1995 and still like it. ### 2/5 — Radio with map feature *2024-04-12* Previous version had great feature of displaying radio station by map. This way geographically co-located radio stations can be quickly accessed. Current feature of grouping by state require more scrolling and there is no search bar as well. Current version does not respond or load so it remain unusable. It is great app as it brings so much entertainment (in regional language) and knowledge together but require improvement. ### 2/5 — UTTER LOSS TO THE SUBSCIBERS *2024-04-06* With your prompting I updated the app and felt completely disappointed as various radio stations disappeared from my mobile. Various programmes, film songs, Vivid Bharati, and the luxury of listening to classical music have been snatched away from the treasure. Before updating the app I thought it would carry advanced features to make it more enjoyable. Sadly our hope has been dashed by your bureaucratic action. Spoilsport indeed ! H..K. Besides it covers many things beyond news. The App is slow to load after the recent update. Biggest letdown is the Radio Section- it used to work beautifully in the previous version. Now it is loading on the webpage- is should work directly from the app. How about an Archive section for the amazing collections that Prasar Bharti has ### 1/5 — What happened to the radio channels? *2024-03-17* With the new version of this app the radio channels are very difficult to play. Used to listen to Vividhbharati and other FM channels regularly. Now there are so many unnecessary things but the radio. Very disappointed. The earlier no glam app was far better. Now the radio turns off when phone sleeps or app is minimised. Searching and playing radio stations is difficult. It’s a shame it cannot produce a good app that runs govt owned radio channels. The old app UI was far better, at least it had its own in-built player. The latest update said “huge UI update”, whereas it’s mock of an app. Selecting a radio station takes you to a separate url.
