Easy to use, easy to see and it made traveling 8 hours EASY. Nexit does it all! From planning short day trips for my wife to go shopping, weekend get aways with my family or traveling for work related conferences - I can do all of it easily with Nexit. I really like that I can plan out my stops before my trip even begins and customize my experience to my wants and needs. I deleted all other navigation apps I had on my phone because Nexit is a one stop shop. Just some first impressions: 1. It would be nice to be able to change the zoom on the map. Once I pinch out, it reverts to the too small view in a moment. I can’t see the darn thing! 2. I got to my destination (using Maps) and reopened Nexit, it showed my current location but said that I was outside of the United States. I was told a year or two back that CarPlay compatibility was coming soon. What happened to that? Even more disappointing, I just did a search of the services at an interstate exit near me and found the data to be way out of date. There’s fast food locations in my area opened for years that don’t show up. Conversely there are places out of business for a long time that still look like they exist in this app. Without current data, this kind of app is useless and I wouldn’t trust it on a road trip. While it looks good on the outside, it needs some fit and finish to make it shine. Please show vehicle speed and and speed limits. While the development where I live is relatively new, every other map app has updated it, but not Nexit. Gas pricing is a very nice feature. Trip planning, reservations within the app, very well done! Please allow users to report traffic, roadway hazards, police etc. These are just basics that Waze already has. If you want to run with the big dogs you have to play with the same tech. Just a few tweaks to make it an all in one. I tried to like it.....no dark mode? I can’t use this app at night.
