## What is NexPTG?

The innovative NexPTG paint thickness gauge with a dedicated application is a modern solution for every user. The device is designed for measuring automotive sheet metal (Automotive industry).

Smartwatch
The gauge has a dedicated application available on watchOS watches. The app exclusively works with PRO Carbon devices.
The app allows:
- automatic search and connection with the NexPTG device,
- indicating the measurement value, substrate detection, measurement interpretation,
- creation a short history of measurements and browsing it,
- insight into measuring statistics,
- calibration of the NexPTG device.

Customized bodies
NexPTG application includes 100+ dedicated car bodies in addition to standard bodies.
Making the measurement process more realistic. Personalize the report to the customer's needs with a realistic representation of the measured vehicle. 

Voice commands
The function allows you to perform the appropriate actions in the NexPTG application thanks to voice commands. Allows you to call the selected function without using the smartphone screen.

QR, EAN, OCR reader
The function allows you to scan the VIN number using the smartphone's built-in camera. It is available in the vehicle data report tab. 

Gallery widget
All NexPTG gauges have access to the function of superimposing measurement parameters on photos, taken with the help of a widget. The photographs are available in the Gallery tab.

Dedicated report
Allows you to present data in a more accessible way. All measurements are placed in tables and compared with each other using the symmetric measurement table. Both external and internal components can be measured.
The measurement sets function allows you to customize the location of the measured points as desired.

Ich nutze die App seit einigen Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden. Besonders gut finde ich, dass es regelmäßig Updates gibt, die Bedienung einfach ist und auf Kundenwünsche eingegangen wird.

Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Wenn man einen Messbericht erstellt, werden in der PDF automatisch die Innenmessungen und Reifenwerte angezeigt, auch wenn man diese nicht ausfüllt. Das sieht im Bericht nicht so schön aus. Es wäre super, wenn man diese Werte per Klick ein- oder ausblenden könnte oder auswählen könnte, welche Angaben im Bericht erscheinen sollen.

Habe die Carbon Variante - an sich nicht schlecht aber die App ist eine Katastrophe !! Wenn ich die Berichte in meiner App versenden will geht garnichts - kann sie nicht in Datein speichern, per Email senden - whatsapp etc  // auf dem Tablet genau das gleiche Problem + ist nicht gut aufgebaut das manche sachen im weg sind & man nicht erkennt was dahinter steht

Brak odpowiedniej długości na nazwę opon. Jeśli kopiujemy dane opony przód a potem zmieniamy to pozostaje poprzednia nazwa. Na tablecie gdy wykonujemy pomiar za pomocą zdjęć to mapka pojazdu jest zbyt mała. Notatki: za mało miejsca na opis chociaż na wydruku jest jego dużo. Druk pomiaru jest zbyt duży. Można to lepiej wykorzystać. Można dodać zaczytywanie tablic rej. Ze zdjęcia. Używam tego jako rzeczoznawca i mogło to być bardziej zoptymalizowane. Zdjęcia z pomiarem są bardzo niskiej jakości. Coraz częściej brakuje aby te punkty pomiarowe były pływające. Miejsce pomiaru obrazuje czasami miejsce naprawy i jest niemożliwe zmiany tego punktu. Musimy przed pomiarem je ustawiać co prowadzi do podwójnej pracy. Brakuje strony www do logowania - można było by wtedy większość procesu uzupełniania danych pojazdu zautomatyzować. Zmieńcie podejście - szanujcie czas pracy użytkownika. Proszę 🙏🙏 Dodatkowo wydruk pomiaru powinien być dostępny w JPG. Oraz możliwość podkładki wydruku na dowolnej konfiguracji mapki. Każde TU ma swoje i ciężko zmienić ich mentalność.

И на предидущий отзыв  3 года назад вы так и не поправили что измерения начинают с Крыши!

I recently purchased NextPTG paint thickness gauge for measuring paint thickness on motorcycles and doing tests and reports for clients using this app. Surprisingly, I discovered there’s no provisions at all in the app for tests and reports on motorbikes. 
This tool is designed for cars only which is annoying and also very disappointing. 
The motorcycle industry is a huge market this company has strangely excluded itself from when designing this.

Ich nutze das Gerät in meiner täglichen Arbeit als KFZ-Sachverständiger und bin damit im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden. Es funktioniert klasse und die Akkulaufzeit ist ein Traum! Es wäre aber schön, wenn es hier eine WEB Anwendung gibt. Somit könnte man auch mit iPad bzw. Mit dem Computer auf die Protokolle zugreifen und diese bequemer wie mit dem Handy bearbeiten. Weiterhin wäre ein Fahrzeugschein Scanner hilfreich. Somit könnte man schneller arbeiten da die Software alle Daten aus dem Fahrzeugschein ausliest und dann in das Protokoll übernimmt. Sollte dies zu umständlich sein, wäre es schon Hilfreich wenn man Kennzeichen und Fahrgeste abfotografieren kann und dies wird dann an entsprechender Stelle eingefügt. Weiterhin wäre es schön, wenn man in der Software bei Kommentaren Textbausteine hinterlegen kann. Es sind immer die gleiche Texte die ich benötige, diese immer wieder neu eingeben, bzw. aus einem alten Bericht zu kopieren, nervt etwas.

selbst mit dem NextPTG fehlenleoder grundkarrosserien wie Kleinwagen und Geländewagen. Beim Scannen der Fahrzeuge fehlt leider eine Vortschritt anzeige, die sofware fangt dann immer wieder neu an obwohl man das nicht beötigt
