## What is NEXRAD Analyst Pro?

NEXRAD Analyst Pro is a native Apple weather radar analysis suite for reviewing live and recent NEXRAD Level II radar data on macOS, iPhone, and Apple Watch.

LIVE NEXRAD RADAR DATA
Load current and recent radar volumes from public NEXRAD Level II sources. Review reflectivity, velocity, spectrum width, storm-relative velocity, and dual-pol products when available.

NATIVE MAP CONTEXT
Radar sweeps render over Apple Maps with warning polygons, range rings, METAR surface observations, lightning overlays, and numerical model-data context.

METAL 3D VOLUME RENDERING
Explore radar structure in a GPU-rendered 3D view built with Apple Metal. Pro access unlocks the 3D workflow and advanced inspector surfaces.

TIMELINE AND CASE REVIEW
Scrub recent scans, step through radar history, save sessions, and export radar imagery for case review.

OPTIONAL PRO AND ADD-ON TOOLS
Basic radar viewing is included. Optional Pro access unlocks the full product set, multi-pane layouts, storm-relative velocity controls, 3D rendering, and inspector panels. Optional add-on packs unlock storm tracking overlays and on-device Core ML analysis tools.

DESIGNED FOR APPLE PLATFORMS
Built with SwiftUI, MapKit, Metal, SwiftData, StoreKit 2, WidgetKit, watchOS complications, and other Apple frameworks. No Electron wrapper and no Windows compatibility layer.

IMPORTANT WEATHER NOTICE
NEXRAD Analyst Pro is an analysis aid. It is not a substitute for official National Weather Service warnings, emergency alerts, forecasts, or instructions from local authorities. Radar data can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.

DATA NOTICE
NEXRAD radar and related weather data are provided by NOAA, NWS, and other public weather data services. NEXRAD Analyst Pro is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA, the National Weather Service, or any government agency.
