There’s also no clear user guidelines, or “help” section so I also am unsure how to change the doc layout however it’s stated within the app that you can change and customise it but no option to access that. I also purchased the plus membership and there was no difference no upgrades, completely the same as the free version. Definitely don’t recommend this app. Not great as a car dashboard app. There is also no customer support, or access to any contacts to help with issues. **Developer response:** Hey sorry to hear you didn’t like the app, but you can connect with on twitter @sachineleven. Regarding Pro version not having extra features- we give users full access to the app and all its features in its free trial, that’s why it’s called a ‘Free trial’ and not ‘Limited access trial’. If you want to have a increased free trial limit please connect with me on Twitter @sachineleven ### 1/5 — Would not recommend to anyone *2023-03-19* I paid $5 for this app only for the developer to, less than 2 months later, switch to a subscription model and give nothing to their previous purchasers. There’s 0 chance I would pay a subscription for an app I already paid for, especially when the developer pulled the rug out from under me with no warning whatsoever. Guess I have to delete the app as it’s now completely useless. **Developer response:** Hi, we already provide free Next Pro access to all the previous users till 31 November, 2024 and we plan to provide FREE LIFETIME access to Next for all our previous users. If you still have any questions connect via Twitter on @sachineleven. ### 2/5 — 5 min trial *2023-10-29* You get a 5 min trial to use the app before you get locked out of the app. So 5 mins to learn and configure the app the forces the app subscription down your throat saying pro version. Can’t call something a pro version without a free version. Gave 2 stars cause the app looks promising but not going to pay to test out the app. Yes the subs are cheap but it’s the principle behind it. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your input, we have increased the free trial limit to 30 minutes of app usage. If you have any questions get in touch on twitter @sachineleven ### 3/5 — Requires iOS 15.2 for iPad Pro *2025-02-01* I’m trying to install the app on my iPad pro but it is showing requires iOS 15.2.can you please fix it **Developer response:** Hey, Next requires a minimum iOS version of 15.2 to work. This is a 4 year old iOS version at this point. I am afraid I can’t do much as the app takes use of APIs which are only available in iOS 15.2 or greater. ### 3/5 — confused *2024-04-10* i never opened this app prior to today and am told i already experienced the free trial. how? **Developer response:** hey, sorry you had to face this issue, I can give you an extended free trial, please connect via twitter @sachineleven ### 3/5 — Only a few free minutes to explore the app *2024-04-03* After a few minutes you need to subscribe to the app. Can’t find the settings to change the language also I been trying to change the KPH to MPH and I can’t, besides that is nice. **Developer response:** Hey, To change speed from KPH to MPH- 1. Click on the setting icon on the bottom bar and then click ‘Units and Measurements’ and choose ‘Imperial’ option. To change the language- 1. I will be happy to personally assist you there ### 4/5 — Fuel price should be keyboard input, not slider. Inaccurate landmarks. *2024-12-15* The Slider for fuel price value makes no sense considering the wide variety of currencies. The slider value for the gas price only maxed out at at 200, meanwhile my home country currency (Vietnamese Dong - VND) has the gas price of 19000 VND upwards. Basically almost any 3rd world countries have gas price being at least 4 digits. This problem could have been easily fixed by making the value being entirely custom input by keyboard. Another problem is the app missed out several landmarks while pinning bogus locations. For instance, when I choose to search for gas stations near me, it misses out at least 2 gas stations which are located right beside the national highway, while marking strange empty areas as gas stations. A suggestion that I think would make this app very nice is to allow user to select different music sources, rather than just “Spotify or Apple Music”. For instance, I would like to see YT music or Radio Garden being an option in here. Though lacking it wouldn’t decrease my app experience too much. Aside from that, I find the app to be easy to get used to, and it’s a great app to modernize my car without having to buy a new head unit with Carplay. **Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the review. I have tried to answer your questions below- #1 I will fix the issue with slider in the very next update. #2 The app gets nearby gas station information from Apple Maps, so if you are missing results, it’s probably not in Apple’s system. #3 I will need to see if YT music or Radio Garden provide any third party APIs through which they can connect to the Next app. Apple Music in Spotify do have API support that’s why they their support is present and Tidal for example does not have any third-party API support, so it’s not supported. ### 4/5 — GPS on WiFi iPad Pro works better than companion app *2024-05-23* I found using the companion app to get GPS via my iPhone worked ok but not great. Now I connect my iPad to my car via the USB-C cable and then connect a Garmin Glo 2 (99 bucks) via Bluetooth to my iPad and the maps and speedometer work flawlessly. In this format the app looks and works really good. Maps update and reroute as needed. The integration of Apple Music is also good! ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2023-09-08* I’m having an issue on my iPad Pro where it thinks I have location services off, but I’ve confirmed I have them on. I’ve tried everything and can’t get it to work. Other than that this is an awesome app! I’ve been looking for a good car dashboard/infotainment for my iPad screen… I mounted my iPad over my stock infotainment system and have been using it as my infotainment. It’s been awesome, and this app takes it to another level. App Needs a little more work still and some feature additions soon, but the potential is definitely there. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review. Highly recommend for everyone looking to use their iPad for a car display! ### 5/5 — Functional and aesthetic, worth every penny *2024-10-09* This is the first review I’ve left for an app. After searching for a week, this was the exact app I needed while also being genuinely pretty to look at. Besides car driving, I often ride a bike too and this app allows for speedometer reading while giving full map turn by turn navigation in bike mode- there is simply no other app that does all this while also allowing you to adjust music etc.. in one place - all on my small iphone. The developer is also super responsive and made an update based on some of my needs in a matter of days. To get the same thing elsewhere, I’d probably have to spend triple the money and still miss out on this app’s features. Those complaining about the free version not being fully functional clearly have never used premium apps. Unless you want a bunch of ads plastered over the screen (aside from being stupid ugly this would affect driving experience too), having a paid app is the only way to make a highly functional and visually aesthetic app -nothing new here. To those complaining about simple fixes like changing it to mph from kph, perhaps try simply googling or at bare minimum try toggling settings before writing a review. It really is not that difficult to work through this app - most changes can be done in two taps Anyhow, great app would buy/subscribe again ### 5/5 — Epic! *2023-12-13* Please add tidal!
