My basic burger is around 300-325 calories; perfect for me and very satisfying! But the APP and the in store Tablets need updates. Neither can process any of the special deals. For instance: the 5yr birthday burger could only be done in the store by a clerk at the register. This deal would not work on the APP or in store Tablets making no it not convenient for your shoppers. Also, when using the APP you cannot see what your true total is if you are using your prom deals. I had the $3 off for the 5yr birthday promo but it wouldn’t show on my phones order review page. You can only see it with the receipt stapled to your bag. This leaves your customers wondering if they even got the promo deal. The PREVIOUS ORDERS section on the APP is confusing as well. I was trying to see what mistakes were made when I accidentally ordered one of the previous orders (your team members were awesome with fixing that). There is no option to just view the previous receipts. When you select one of your previous orders it automatically starts to order that selection. To delete it you have to delete each individual item from that order. So... fixes needed to the APP. 1) A CANCEL ORDER button. 2) Option to only review previous orders. 3) Adding SPECIAL OFFERS to the APP and in store Tablets and showing this on the review order page when making a purchase. 4) Adding PROMO DEALS to the review order page when making a purchase. Everything else is awesome! I’m in no way going to stop going. I love the food and customer service I have received so far. Screen flashes quick but it will not open this app. ### 1/5 — Very glitchy *2024-04-06, version 29.0.1* My partner and I spent an unreasonable amount of time on both of our phones (mine Apple and hers android) and it wouldn’t let us login to our accounts. When we tried to make new ones it was saying we had old accounts registered and we couldn’t use our cards or phone numbers. We finally got an order placed after using a card neither of us had used to place orders before, and not using any rewards. We almost gave up and went home and didn’t order anything. This made ordering through the app much more difficult than ordering at the store. ### 1/5 — Rewards not applicable *2023-12-31* I keep getting emails from Next Level telling me that I have $10 waiting. I went through the rigmarole of signing up for the new app, went to check out, clicking the apply $10 rewards and it wouldn’t let me check out, saying I had already used the rewards. Nothing I could do. Rip off. **Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. It sounds like you may have accidentally created a duplicate account with us. We would love to help resolve this matter! ### 1/5 — Forget About Redeeming Rewards *2022-06-27* Almost always I'll recommend ordering directly from the restaurant; this is the one exception. Delivery works from every third party but the app locks you out at random, even during open delivery hours. So if you have any nice rewards you've earned that you wanna use, forget it. Twice now I've ordered enough delivery to get $15 off, only to get "delivery is not available to your address" the moment I tried to use it. Very frustrating. Good food, but time to find a new regular place when I physically can't leave the house. ### 1/5 — Keeps Crashing *2020-08-22* I love NLB but the app never seems to work for me. Every time I get to the order screen the app crashes. I always end up having to go through the mobile website instead. Please fix! ### 1/5 — Workers ignore PIck up orders *2019-05-13, version 1.0.0* The workers ignored my pick up order because they don’t get tips on pick up. My bag sat there for 20 min until I waited for my fries and hamburger to be cold. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with in-person cash transactions *2019-02-22, version 1.0.0* This app is confusing and misleading. I downloaded the app and it informed me that I would get a free fries on my “next visit.” I showed up at my local Next Level, ordered, and paid cash. I was told that I could not get the free fries unless I ordered via the app and, not only that, I would not get credit for my purchase since I did not buy it using a credit card through the app. I cannot find any info that states the app doesn’t work if you order in person and pay cash. I’ve used other customer loyalty apps (e.g. Veggie Grill) and you get credit regardless. This has been a disappointment and a disincentive to use the app. AND, the customer feedback form within the app would not let me send this because the submit button is inaccessible once you start typing. ### 1/5 — Useless *2019-02-15* Always says items are out of stock at my location when they are not. So I cannot order what I want through the app. When I call to order, nothing is out of stock. This is in reference to the Concord, CA location. ### 2/5 — New, Not Better *2026-03-02, version 47.14.0* This new app is clearly not designed with the user experience in mind. Excessive taps needed to reach anything, garbage cross platform tech used so it doesn’t feel like it belongs on iOS or Android. Awkward animation curves and timing, and painfully unintuitive. The new store has those screen menus that change every few seconds and uses a font that is just small enough to really strain your eyesight before changing so you have to start over again after waiting for it to switch back. I definitely miss the old veggie grill. ### 2/5 — Love the place, but they ruined the app *2023-12-15* It’s a shame that after dozens of orders I can no longer use the app. Requiring me to sign up for rewards I already am signed up for, requiring me to add credit card information I already had in the app, and requiring me to add address info that is already in the app…Every time I try to use the app. Update: finally got it to work, but it won’t keep my store location and way too many extra clicks. I love that almost everything is organic and there’s the option of having a Beyond or house made mushroom quinoa patty.
