## What is Next Lifer?

Find your next lifer.

Next Lifer turns live sightings into answers to the questions birders actually ask: What could I see near here that I've never seen before? What's rare right now? Where are the owls? Which hotspot should I go to this morning?

LIFERS AND YEAR BIRDS
Connect your eBird account and Next Lifer imports your life list and this year's list. Every search then shows which recently reported species would be new for you — lifetime or this year. Saw one? Tap "Seen it" and it drops off the list.

RARITIES, OWLS AND NOTABLE BIRDS
See every rare-bird report in range, owls with the hotspots where they've been found, and a "Notable" list of the most interesting sightings.

THE BEST HOTSPOTS
Hotspots ranked by species, recent activity, lifers and distance — plus the ones that are trending right now. Each hotspot page shows what's been reported lately, with directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps.

MADE FOR THE FIELD
• Search near you or anywhere you're planning to go
• All categories at a glance, with a map view
• Filter by species name
• Save favorite hotspots and search areas
• Your life list syncs across your devices
• Voice search: just say "owls near Cape May this week"
• Clear, high-contrast dark design that's easy to read outdoors

TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Start searching right away as a guest. Create an account or Sign in with Apple when you want to keep your list on more than one device.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads. No tracking. You sign in to eBird on eBird's own page — Next Lifer never sees your eBird password. Delete your account and data at any time from Settings.
