Slightly steep learning curve at first. The tutorial helps and also revisited it again after playing a couple of games. The more I play - the more nuances I find. It’s a delightful mix of RPG, Roguelike with a nod to board game influences. It’s one of those games I pick up it late at night and fall down a deep well levelling up, deciding where to spend skill points, what should I craft, which of my party I should upgrade, where do I explore next on the map…. Will update my review when the normal game no longer sucks. I’d give Sandbox mode about 4, maybe 5 stars though. Edit: Thanks for a response! However the issue is not that I am terrible at the game. I found a build that makes normal mode trivial but there are like zero viable other options that are also still fun. My honest recommendation is to just either give players more time (a lot more), or allow players to choose when to spawn the next terminator demon.
