## What is Next Stop Tokyo?

Drive a commuter train from Shinjuku to Tokyo through a detailed model of central Tokyo, and stop it at every platform yourself. Fifteen sights along the way, from Shinjuku Gyoen and the old castle moat to Tokyo Station's red-brick building, are named as you pass, with a marker over each: tap Look to turn your view to one. The sights you pass are kept with a picture in your records, and a sights tour shows them one by one. Photograph a sight in the photo mode and your picture goes into the list. Today's run has a sight of the day, and the photo mode lets you pick the light (dawn, day, dusk or night), add fog and zoom from the cab.

START WITH ONE STATION
Run any stretch of the line, or practice a single stop from just before the platform. P to power, N to coast, B to brake. Driving hints tell you when to brake and how hard (cut them to the safety ones, or off, once you know the line), the stop gauge's ▼ shows where you would stop as you are, the cab display can be clean, to leave the view open, or detailed, with all the meters, and after each run you get one thing to try next. A demonstration run shows how it is done.

FREE TO PLAY
• Rapid service Shinjuku to Yotsuya, local service Shinjuku to Yoyogi
• Stop practice at those stations, driving hints and the demonstration run
• Morning, day, evening and night (the towers' red lights blinking, signals and train lamps glowing), rain, fog, cherry blossom, autumn leaves and snow
• Today's run: a new stretch, time of day and weather every day, in blossom in spring, in autumn colors in autumn and now and then in snow in winter (on the free stretch); a home screen and lock screen widget shows the day's run and your streak
• Personal bests and achievements
• Two trial challenges

LOOK BACK AT EVERY RUN
After a run, the review shows each stretch's speed graph beside your best, where you began to brake and how hard, and the times you passed the stations you ran through. Your records keep each station's stops and your weakest station, a tap from its stop practice, and a driver's grade that rises as you drive, from trainee to master. Challenges always run under the same conditions: aim for each task's goals for the stopping position, the timing and the ride. The last ten runs and your best for each task stay on your device.

ONE-TIME FULL VERSION
An in-app purchase opens every stretch of both services from Shinjuku to Tokyo, stop practice at every station, six more challenges and the endless shuttle: precise stops at night, two and three stations in a row, keeping time while reading the signals. No subscription.

ENDLESS SHUTTLE
Shinjuku to Tokyo, back to Shinjuku and on: keep the rapid going until your third mistake and chase a high score. Turn back at Tokyo and drive the other way too. Your five best are kept for each difficulty. The price is shown on the purchase screen.

• An independent game made by one developer, not affiliated with any railway company or facility. The trains, their operation and the scenery are made for the game and differ from the real ones. Station, line and place names only show where the game is set; no railway company logos or real departure melodies are used.
• Terrain and ground colors from the GSI tiles (elevation and seamless photos) of the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, buildings from MLIT's Project PLATEAU 3D city models, tracks, roads and stations from © OpenStreetMap contributors, all processed for the game (details under Sources & credits in the settings).
• Some stretches, such as the local service between Ochanomizu and Tokyo, are rearranged for the game.
• Rain shows in the scenery and on the windshield; wheel slip is not simulated.
• Purchases and restoring them need a connection. If the app is closed in the middle of a run, Resume last run on the menu picks it up again (not for challenges).
