At all. Going to get a microsd/iPhone adapter and see if I can view files that way. Which is a shame, a major reason I purchased this was the ability to connect to the camera on the road/in the field and view footage quickly. We’ll see if/how the footage appears once I get to actually view it. ### 1/5 — Wrong app for 622gw *2026-05-26* Why show the camera models when you don’t support that ### 1/5 — No video on app *2026-05-16, version 2.2.4* Not able to see videos on app, tried multiple solutions and still no reply from manufacturer ### 3/5 — Wifi and bluetooth sub-par *2026-05-14, version 2.2.3* I would not recomend these products. I would recommend an “all-in-one” device. That has internal memory (no SD cards), an LCD screen (no apps to compromise your car or phone data); and to have your own “parking-mode” just set-up an external camera at your regular parking spot, or trade in your “A-B” for a less precious car. Best regards, ### 1/5 — Can’t sync the camera *2026-05-11* It wont appear or scan on the app or connect it won’t even scan for devices and you can’t go to the previous page to redo it, and it doesn’t ask for location services or local network or bluetooth so i don’t know how it generally works ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2026-05-09* The pictures appear to imply this works with older dash and like the 522 but it doesn’t. Installed, verified, registered, picked dashcam and told to get a different app. ### 1/5 — Misleading previews *2026-04-24* The previews for the app show a range of models that can be used with it. You can literally only use two within the app, and are redirected to download the other Nextbase app to use any others. Unusable for anyone that, understandably, downloads it to use with the other cameras. ### 1/5 — Cannot connect *2026-04-08* I am using 385GWX but I can’t search the cam in the App. I connected Bluetooth, tried turn off my phone, reinstall app, updated iOS. But it’s still not working. I don’t know why the device is different to connect. However if you open the app and try to set it up with that camera it tells you you must use the MyNextbase Connect app. What’s the point of two apps for supposedly the same thing? ### 1/5 — Malfunctioning 385GWX *2026-03-27, version 2.1.3* Can’t connect its Apps ### 1/5 — 385GWX It’s can’t connect to iPhone 17 *2026-03-19, version 2.1.3* 385GWX I purchased a new Toyota RAV4 and joined the dash cam installation plan at the same time. The dash cam was supplied and installed by the Toyota dealership. I was informed that after installation, I would be able to control the dash cam and view recordings via the Nextbase mobile app. However, I am currently unable to do so. Both my iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max, running iOS 26.2.1, are unable to detect the dash cam model 385 GWX in the Nextbase app. The device does not appear at all during the pairing process. To further investigate, I contacted the sales representative at Leeds Toyota. Using an iPhone 16, they were able to successfully detect and connect to the same dash cam without any issues. This strongly suggests that there may be a compatibility issue between the Nextbase app/system and newer iPhone models. As a result, I am currently unable to access, control, or confirm whether the dash cam is operating correctly in my vehicle, which defeats the purpose of having the system installed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — l don’t like this… *2026-08-26* I don’t want to give this app Full Access to my photos library in order to save videos, big No! ### 1/5 — Worst hardware to hardware connectivity. *2026-08-22* Nextbase has the worse hardware to hardware connectivity I have ever seen. I am at loss on how to get my phone to connect to app to camera. ### 1/5 — 385GWX done with Toyota Dealership *2026-08-15* 385GWX won’t connect to iPhone because the app never requests permissions. I didn’t receive all that I payed for when I ordered and customer support has been so unhelpful and frustrating. The app is able to connect to the dash cam. However, it never sync any recording to the library. The app is able to connect to the piqo’s adhoc wifi. The setup view also works thru the wifi connection. Just that video syncing never works. ### 1/5 — Library *2026-06-02* It records but there are days it records nothing. The one time I almost get hit by someone, I go to check the library to watch over and it hadn’t uploaded film to the library for 3 days. It says connected and my pico makes the beep when it’s on but won’t upload to library. Disappointed as a young driver who wants to protect myself. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-05-27* I don't recommend these dash cams, they heat up very quickly, you get a lot of errors. The app work as it should, no problems. Comes with long enough lead to plug in. You will need to a subscription for some of the features. All in all good product for the price.
