Es scheint keine Updates mehr zu geben seit 2 Jahren. Das ist echt schade. This app, both iOS and iPadOS, behaves as expected and allows me to customize just seeing headlines or full article text. Auch wenn die App derzeit gratis ist, kann ich allen Nutzern nur empfehlen den Entwickler per kleiner Spende zu unterstützen. Die App ist definitiv ein paar Euro wert. Ein paar erste konkrete Ideen zur Verbesserung hätte ich bereits. Gerade gefunden den Schalter um das einzuschalten. Daher 5 sterne. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect *2026-06-29* Wasted 20 minutes with trying to get logged in to my News server on Nextcloud. Set up api password and verified everything is working correctly, even used Chat for troubleshooting to no avail. Sadly no way to get past login screen. **Developer response:** Hey! I‘ve just released a new major version of Nextnews, could you try if the login works now? If it doesn’t, which error are you getting? Creating an API password shouldn’t be necessary on your end since Nextnews requests an API password by itself after you authenticate using the in-app browser. If the new release doesn’t solve the issue, hit me up on the „app support“ button listed on the App Store page. ### 1/5 — iPhone iPad *2025-12-29, version 1.1.2* Unterirdisch ### 1/5 — Lacking import function *2025-12-22, version 1.1.2* Extremely difficult to transfer from another news reader as there is no way to import new feeds in an OPML file. Unfortunately all I get are connect failure errors. My instance is properly configured with the news app installed. Will try again after some time. **Developer response:** Hey! If it doesn’t, please send an email to support@nextnewsapp.com ### 3/5 — One change for 5 stars *2025-10-02* If the articles would open inside the app instead of opening in my browser I would use this and give it 5 stars. But opening in the browser is not user friendly. Auch das gelesen beim scrollen funktioniert. Bester Reader für Nextcloud News im Store. Würde nicht auch eine Suchfunktion Sinn machen? >Zur Info: Habe die Tage auf iPadOS 26 umgestellt und festgestellt, dass beim zurückspringen aus dem Webbrowser, mit dem ich die News geöffnet hatte, Nextnews auf die erst bereits gelesene News springt.
