I initially had trouble connecting my Airturn pedal and there are no directions in the app on how to do that, and the link to talk to the developer didn't work. Eventually after acouple of resets on everything I got it working properly It's simple and it gets the job done, and I'm grateful it's a pay once and you're good to go. ### 4/5 — Wonderful App *2025-09-09, version 2023.3* I’ve been using NextPage for many years and it continues to deliver. Having a large collection of music and doing live gigs demands that the app provide all of my needs in a timely and efficient manner on demand, and it continues to do just that. The ability to customise the content to suit my requirements is awesome and the flexibility within that is something I’ve come to love. If you need the ability to have sheet music at your fingertips, on demand, and sorted in any way you want to imagine, this is the app you need. Thanks to the software crew for a great app. ### 3/5 — Markup issue *2025-01-28, version 2024.1* I wanted to submit this via app support, but it just crashes. I did all my markups in black for a gig and when I opened the app the next day, my markups changed to white! Obviously not helpful. Is this a known glitch? Outside of that, the app is fantastic. ### 3/5 — Gut, aber nicht optimal *2024-06-18* Ich nutze die App mit meinem Kinderorchester auf mehreren iPads gleichzeitig. Sie erleichtert das Proben sehr, weil ich Setlisten vorbereiten kann. Leider kann ich bei einmal erstellten Setlisten die Reihenfolge der Songs nur durch Löschung und erneutes Einfügen der Songs ändern. Darüber hinaus würde ich gern einmalig von mir importierte App-Inhalte auf allen iPads synchronisieren. Diese beiden Punkte als Anregung für die Entwickler, ansonsten tut die App, was sie soll **Developer response:** Thanks for the review! To reorder the songs, tap on "Set List", and the tap on "Edit" on the top right of the Set List popover. You can then drag/drop the songs to reorder them. Also thanks for the synchronization idea. We will definitely consider that for the future! ### 3/5 — Functional *2023-08-24, version 2023.1* The app does a pretty good job. It would be nice if it would import common jpeg files. It would also be nice if the help screen contact link actually led to an email or phone number. It does not. So you are left hanging. This used to work fine until I started to make more than one set list. Now it won’t start up or it will start up and close down within 30 seconds. When it worked it was good. Now it is useless. Thank you very much! ### 4/5 — Sehr gute App, aber ... *2020-03-24* ... eine Kleinigkeit vermisse ich: Unter „Hervorheben“ fehlt mir das Zeichen, mit dem in Bestände Noten eingefügt werden kann, eine bestimmte Passage zu wiederholen, also der Doppelstrich mit Doppelpunkt. Schade! Aber im Ergebnis eine App, die tut was sie soll und das auch noch gut! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! We will add the repeat symbol for you in the next update! ### 2/5 — Apple Pencil doesnt work. *2019-10-08* As previously mentioned annotations are only working from time to time. Mostar there a random lines occuring with every move of the pencil. Sadly that makes the App useless for me. **Developer response:** Hi Lauii1337, As noted in the app, Apple Pencil support is in BETA, and so it does have some known issues. We are presently rewriting support for the Pencil using Apple's latest PencilKit technology released in iPadOS 13, and you will soon have a much better experience. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2019-09-03, version 2019.1* Used the original version for many years, but once I got a new iPad I had to update to NP3. It cost more but to my disappointment, certain large pdf files glitch out and refuse to open unless dragged around and re-arranged in order. The developer was nice in email exchanges but I suppose this bug has never been fixed in the last year? I need to have many scores loaded, ready to go along with requests possibly added on the gig. The old app worked perfectly fine, so it’s a shame this has been an issue. I’ve been forced to move onto other apps. Frankly the app’s layout and options are a bit dated as well. ### 3/5 — “Free” version very limited... *2019-01-04, version 3.010* I was looking for a simple app to use for song charts (lyric and chord sheets) for my band. Overall the free version of NextPage 3 would be a good alternative to something like Piascore EXCEPT that NextPage 3 limits you to 5 scores! If you need more than that you’ll have to upgrade to the paid version ($17.99). Thus my rating of only 3 stars for NextPage 3. Considering that Piascore pretty much does everything that NextPage does, doesn’t limit my song library (80 song charts), and truly is free, I’ll stick with Piascore. ### 4/5 — Good! *2018-04-08, version 3.009* Really good support. Früher war das Metronom ein großer roter dicker Punkt. Jetzt benötige ich ein Lupe. Es läuft auch bei Song Wechsel nicht mehr automatisch an. Jetzt ist die App für mich langsam unbrauchbar. Warum kann man das Metronom nicht personalisieren, dann wäre doch jedem geholfen. **Developer response:** Hi Rudi, Per our response to your support email about this, it has been over 6 years since the metronome was redesigned to have a smaller footprint and take less space on the screen. As NextPage is designed with the idea that most musicians want to see as much of the music notation as possible, we believe a smaller metronome footprint is better for most playing situations. We have added your autostart feature for a future release. ### 1/5 — Vanished songs!!! *2020-06-03, version 2020.2* Been a longtime user (and purchaser) of NextPage, and have been enjoying the markup function and ease of use. However, your most recent update (2020.2) made all but 5 of my roughly 400 songs vanish completely. The titles of my set lists are still there, but no songs. If that weren’t enough, clicking on the song list brought up a prompt of “Ready to upgrade?” - which, having purchased NP3, I knew was not necessary. I clicked on it anyway, and saw a button to “restore the purchase”. I did, received a message of “Success”... and still no songs. Followed this by restarting both the app and the iPad, and had exactly the same thing happen. The good news is that the original PDFs of my songs are backed up on my computer. The bad news is that I fear all the annotation (tunings, etc) that I applied to the songs that were loaded on my iPad just went poof. What the eff, folks? This latest version is a serious update fail. ### 1/5 — Files are deleted since 2019.01 Update *2019-08-12* Please check if you introduced a bug with the last update that deletes files. I have files disappearing permanently. it’s not good. I’m using this app since years and I’m normally fine with it. I’m a little bit disappointed since my last update 3 days ago. So far we have not been able to reproduce the problem you reported. You mentioned that you are having problem specifically when renaming files. This is the first app I have tried to buy and what a terrible experience. ### 1/5 — Probleme mit Apple Pencil in NextPage3 *2019-07-21* Wenn ich in einer Setliste mit meinem originalen Apple Pencil eine Bemerkung / einen Kreis / etwas handschriftliches auf dem Blatt schreibe (hervorheben, dann Auswahl links oben des Stiftes), setzt NextPage3 einen Strich von Beginn meiner Linie / des geschriebenen nach links unten. Also: schreibe ich z. B. 25 Buchstaben in mein Blatt, habe ich 25 Striche immer im gleichen Winkel von Anfang des Buchstabens bis nach links unten (alle genau exakt im gleichen Winkel). Wichtig ist noch, dass mein Pencil in allen meinen anderen Apps 100% einwandfrei funktioniert. Bitte Feedback!!!!! **Developer response:** Monika, please contact support@onstagetechnologies.com. Please fix. ### 1/5 — Assai deludente: sconsigliatissimo *2017-04-14* Il programma è instabile, a volte ..... anzi spesso si chiude da solo, non parliamo poi se sincronizziamo un mp3 su uno spartito, non funziona assolutamente bene. Non si possono ingrandire gli spartiti che va in tilt, le modifiche sugli spartiti bisogna farle con precisione chirurgica e con il mignolino visto che non possiamo permetterci di ingrandire. È davvero assurdo che un programma di questo prezzo presenti così tante problematiche, da quando l'ho acquistato il programmatore non si è mai degnato di proporre un aggiornamento che elimini questi problemi. Ho provato sia con iPad 2 che con iPad 3 retina, tutto invariato. Se si poteva non mettevo neanche una stella, non merita, assolutamente non merita, neanche gratis dovrebbero presentare programmi che danno più problemi che altro. I think this app will do the trick except I can't connect my Airturn pedal, and there are no directions in the app on how to do that. I paid for the full version of the app, no luck there either. And while the developer asks that I contact him via the app, clicking the contact link does absolutely nothing. I really want this app to work... It’s never failed me until this morning. Hoping for a fix! The fix is in and it worked perfectly! I would highly recommend this for any musician who is looking to go paperless. It’s uses seem limited only to your imagination. I constantly find new ways to use it to develop skills. Sharing music with others, notating and a host of other features in the tool box are of much greater value than the price. Forscore hat mehr Funktionen, aber ist mir zu kompliziert und macht‘s dem Einsteiger wahrlich nicht leicht. Mit NextPage dagegen kann ich schnell alle meine Bigband-Noten importieren, finde sie sofort und kann mir Setlisten für Auftritte erstellen. Super einfach und intuitiv. Es gab ein Problem mit dem Suchfeld. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit und sehr freundlich meldete sich der Support auf Deutsch und kündigte ein Update mit der Fehlerbehebung an. Das Update ist mittlerweile von Apple freigeschaltet, alles funktioniert bestens. So soll es sein, ich bin sehr zufrieden 😀 ### 5/5 — Simply the Best *2017-10-16, version 3.007* I play in an acoustic duo and gig around three times a month. At my age, that's plenty. I got tired of lugging "the book" around and the dead air that accompanied each search for the next tune. NextPage is a Godsend. So very simple, yet so practical. Just enough useful tools without being top heavy. Works flawlessly with a PageFlip Butterfly. I had a connectivity issue on a weekend and I received a response Sunday.
