## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.58 — 2026-10-30

Chat:
- Every message shows its time, inside the bubble next to the ticks, and a divider names each day (Today, Yesterday, the weekday, the date).
- A chat keeps what you typed and did not send, and the chat list shows it as a draft.
- Opening a chat with new messages starts at "N unread messages".
- *Bold*, _italic_, ~strike~ and `code` in messages, as in WhatsApp.
- Voice messages play at 1x, 1.5x or 2x.
- Mute a chat for 8 hours, a week or always; Details says until when.
- Pin up to 3 messages to the top of a chat for everyone in it, for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
- Star messages to find them again in Starred messages (Chat > More, or a chat's Details) - only you see your stars.
- Mark a chat as unread or read from its menu in the chat list.
- Search inside a chat (the search icon at the top) and go to a day.
- Select several messages to copy, star, forward or delete them together.
- Videos show as videos and play in the phone's player.
- Groups have a description, and admins can share an invite link.
- A link in a message shows a preview card with the page's picture and title.

Drawings:
- Photos and files on any markup - a punch cloud's photo, the answer behind a callout - as on the website.
- A Tool Chest takeoff starts its measurement with its name, colour, depth and slope filled in.
- A sloped area or a length that rises shows its true value, as on the website.
- Markup layers made on the website can be shown or hidden.
- A markup locked on the website stays locked here; markups are drawn in the order set on the website; moving a markup that belongs to a group moves the whole group.
- Bookmarks shows a set's own bookmarks.

Also in this version:
- Brands are back in the menu for administrators: Flamin Burger, Fiery Taco, Kona Moka and Max Express. Each opens on this month with its Toast sales by restaurant and by day, and compares the brand's own sales account in the books with Toast.
- Email to tasks: a screen to turn starred emails in the Inbox into tasks.
- When Nexus cannot be reached, the app checks whether Nexus itself is down and says so.
- Notifications settings (admins): the alert groups follow the website's opt-in alerts.

### 3.0.52 — 2026-10-28

Chat
- Edit or delete your own messages at any time - no more 15-minute or 48-hour limit. Group admins can still delete anyone's message in their group.
- Message yourself: pick your own name (at the top of the list) to send notes, pictures or files to yourself - handy for getting something from your phone to your computer. You can forward messages to yourself too.
- Fixes and improvements.

### 3.0.51 — 2026-10-28

Plans and documents
- Open a PDF from Files or any other app in NexusHQ, mark it up and save it back to the original file.
- Live sessions on the plans viewer: changes show up instantly for everyone on the sheet; see who is here and follow them.
- NexusAI on the plans viewer: ask in plain words and it adds the markups for you.
- A Markups List for the whole drawing set, and detail callouts such as "5/A401" open the sheet zoomed on that detail.
- Add Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as documents from the phone.
- Hatching is drawn, markups brought in from a PDF show their author, and Smart review works on drawing sheets.
- Ask shows which documents have been read and opens Word and Excel excerpts as PDF.

Settings and notifications
- Every permission on Users and Roles now says what it does: tap the ⓘ next to a switch, or "What each switch does" for the whole list.
- Bursts of Decra notifications become one alert or a summary line, and the Inbox says what went to the phone only.
- Fixes and improvements.

### 3.0.43 — 2026-10-24

Chat
- Send many more kinds of files: Markdown, HTML, JSON and other text files, Outlook emails, Pages/Numbers/Keynote, drawings (DWG, DXF, Revit), zip archives, videos and audio files.
- Share to NexusHQ from any app: files, photos, videos, links and text now always offer NexusHQ in the share sheet. Videos go as files.

Plans and documents
- Split a document into new documents (every few pages, by page ranges or at each bookmark).
- Download a document locked with a password, and add password-protected PDFs.
- Clean a document before sending it outside, and pull tables out to Excel.
- Owner-side documents stay hidden from those who do not see the owner side.
- Fixes and improvements.
