You should be able to pay for a single sporting event without buying a monthly subscription. One time fee would be easy. I’d even pay more. I’ve used the app twice and spent more time trying to verify who I am just to cancel the subscription which invariably fails. The model of getting people to sign up hoping they will forget to cancel is disingenuous. bye up front with your customers. Just cause I want to watch a one time championship doesn’t mean I need a subscription. Charge me $19.99 and I’ll pay it. Don’t make me have to go back and cancel a $13.99 monthly subscription. Reviews on the app are bad. I dislike using the app. Seems more difficult to navigate and find games. I use the standard site. Some streams aren’t great. I watch high school football and the majority of games have been great. Seems dependent on the school. They post their streams. I just watched Norfolk Catholic vs. Ord 2022 and had absolutely zero issues. Broadcast was excellent. I scout players. I need to access to games. I’m glad I attempted to use NFHS. I should have months ago. I will reiterate that the games streams are dependent on the school. Some are perfect. Others…well, not as useful. Use the standard site. Try it out for a month. If the teams you are interested in have good streams, great. I ONLY use NFHS for high school football. ### 5/5 — Good content. Poorly managed *2020-03-08* If you can’t get out to all the games the content on this app is where it’s at. However their taping are done on a timer and organized more by school than tournaments and events so finding what to watch is a challenge. There is no video editing so the content that is labeled as the game you want is usually the last of a late running game and then stops halfway thru your game and you have to guess where it finishes. Love that I can do this but wish it could be managed so to things are separated properly and easier to find **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Also, having a “smart tv” doesn’t guarantee that you will be able to watch the games. Regular season basketball games have no commentary and do not show the scoreboard, so frustrating! I watched on my cellphone. It was wonderful upon opening the app and after update 3.2.7 it went away. ### 4/5 — Frustrating to Use *2025-09-19* Waste of time. Lots of technical difficulties. They have interrupted all of the broadcasts I’ve watched for up to 10 minutes. When it is working, the camera does not keep up with where the action is. I missed both goals in a recent soccer game because the camera was focused on the team’s defensive zone instead of the offensive zone where the goals were scored. This happens quite a bit. The camera is also not zoomed in on large playing fields so the players look like little ants running around. Zoom in much farther on the playing area where the ball is and keep it that way!
