Have you not realized that satellite dishes are obsolete? You could just raise the price if you are trying to not get new customers. Oh wait, it looks like you’ve already done that. I’ve had NFL Sunday ticket for years but as soon as we moved into a house we are no longer to watch Sunday ticket via streaming? Our landlord will not allow a dish (not that we’d want that on the house) but if you don’t live in an apartment community we are not deemed worthy of streaming NFL out of market games. Seems like a bad way to do business. ### 2/5 — Needs a way to disable auto play *2021-09-22, version 4.9.015* I need this app to not start blaring an ad for THIS APP WHICH I ALREADY HAVE when it starts up. It’s called a toggle switch to disable auto play. Look it up, all the cool apps have one. Also if you need me to update the app put a button on the screen to DO THAT. It all works really well. My only complaint is the lack of ability to multitask with the app without my vision of a game being partially impaired. I get it that they don’t want you to let others sign into your account but if you are using the same WiFi network you should be allowed to put on more than just one game. ### 1/5 — App Did Not Work On TV *2020-09-14, version 3.8.025* While the app worked on my laptop, it did not work on my tv. I tried contacting support through the online chat and nobody responded after 30 minutes. Called the 800 support number and waited for an hour and hung up. Terrible customer service given the fact I paid good money for the service. Would be nice if someone got back to me. However, I doubt you will based on your lack of service yesterday. ### 1/5 — IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. IT DOES NOT WORK - HELP!!! *2020-09-05, version 3.8.025* They updated the app and now I can’t log in. The email I received said to delete and download again. I have tried it five times, still nothing. I tried changing password and log in - nope. I have tried it on my iPhone, my iPad, and Apple TV, it just won’t work. By the way, if you want to contact customer well good luck. There is simply no way to contact them. But hey, they took my money so good for them. Writing this review is my last hope. PLEASE Directv fix this issue as the games are starting tomorrow. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2019-12-29, version 2.9.021* Hands down worst app possible. The app lets me sign in on the tv in the living room, I sign out then go into my bed room an try to sign in with the exact same log in information and the denies me. Makes no sense. Also the black out games don’t make sense, towards the end of the season they black out games that aren’t on regular cable. For the money they charge I should get every game available. Not worth the money they charge ### 1/5 — Worst streaming app I’ve ever used *2019-11-10, version 2.9.021* Can’t stream longer than 17 seconds at a time without pixelating the video. Makes watching games extremely frustrating. One down out of an entire drive is crisp viewing. We’ve tried all the suggested fixes we can find, nothing works. No device we own is better than another for this app. Yet no other device or app has any problems streaming! It’s to the point where we will now Uber to a bar and watch our game without sound rather than *hope* we can watch in the comfort of our own home. It’s 2019, and this is a billion dollar industry. Get it together, Sunday Ticket. If this was a free service I’d still be disappointed. Having paid for this? Now we just feel stupid. ### 1/5 — Terrible service. *2019-10-13, version 2.9.021* The picture is always fuzzy, lagging, or simply saying “this video is not working right now, please try again later.” I have tried the app on MULTIPLE strong WiFi networks and it still doesn’t work. The fact that they advertise all games every Sunday and then don’t show a lot of black out or out of market games is just STUPID. Not worth my time or money in any way as the app does not work. You also can’t watch on a computer, it has to be a device like a phone or tablet. I’ve tried to use the app dozens of times and I have never been able to get a clear picture and watch a full game all the way through. Don’t waste your money!! ### 1/5 — No longer functions *2019-10-13, version 2.9.021* This app no longer works. I have a brand new iPad Pro. My internet speeds are stable and fast enough (180Mbps). I have restarted the app and iPad several times. The app is completely up to date. The result is that the app doesn’t stream. The games are in an unwatchable quality and after just a few min they crash with an error saying that they cannot stream right now due to an error please try again later. Well it’s week 6 and it is still “encountering an error”. This same thing happened last season with the original iPad Pro. ### 1/5 — Airplay doesn’t work this year *2019-10-05, version 2.9.014* For some reason the airplay doesn’t work this season. Only get an error that states there is an error loading this content and try again later. All other apps on my device can airplay fine...only an issue it’s this app. Tried several devices and apple tvs with no success. Even deleted and reloaded the app with no success. Please fix the airplay! ### 1/5 — Sold a lie about how many devices will work concurrently. *2019-10-05, version 2.9.014* I had Sunday Ticket for many years on DirecTV and loved it. We own two homes and have DirecTV in one, but we aren’t permitted to have a dish in the other. Last year, I suspended service for a few months while we were away from the home with DirecTV. And of course, Sunday Ticket wouldn’t be available to a suspended account. This year, I was told by DirecTV rep that i could access Sunday Ticket app from up to 4 devices CONCURRENTLY. This sounded great so i could set up multiple TVs and my iPad with Sunday Ticket games while away from the where the dish is. So i bought it and have kept my DirecTV account active. To my surprise and disappointment, it will only work on one device at a time. I won’t be renewing SUnday Ticket and now will also be suspending DirecTV service when we are away from the one with the dish. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work anymore *2019-10-04, version 2.7.036* I was using the app until recently when I open the app now it immediately says there is a newer version and to go to the App Store to update it. I go to the App Store and it is the current version. So I launch it from the App Store and still while loading I get the message there is a newer version. So I can't open the app now, nevertheless watch the games. What a waste ### 2/5 — Only one log in *2019-09-22, version 2.9.014* It’s great to be able to watch every game every week, but in a day where the other major sports apps, as well as all streaming apps, allow multiple simultaneous log ins, the NFL refuses to do so. Rhetoric BS is always the answer which is provided, but in reality, it’s a superiority complex. The NFL should really get over itself and allow multiple simultaneous log ins or directly come out and say they won’t. The app has glitches galore and many problems. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time! *2022-12-03, version 5.9.001* Got the app. After three days still can’t get service to use app! Called NFL Sunday Ticket Customer Service and they transfer you to AT&T. AT&T says its not their problem and send you back to Direct TV. After three days, multiple conversations with NFL Sunday Ticket & AT&T rep their conclusion is “we can’t help you”! Other interesting item is Direct TV web site you must use to get things setup doesn’t work and provides error messages. For developer. Doesn’t matter if you use IOS or Windows system, same problems occurs. Apparent its a coding problem as the web site one uses to select plan doesn’t complete final execution. What I found amazing, is there’s absolutely no customer service to resolve issue and the fact that NFL Sunday Ticket, Direct TV & AT&T pass you back forth and points to bigger problem existing between above groups. Would of assumed a brand like NFL Sunday Ticket would of figured it out by now! ### 1/5 — Awesome if it worked, but it doesn’t… *2022-09-18, version 5.9.001* For the second week in a row, coverage worked for part of the game, then cut out. After the first quarter of the 1pm games, service cut out with messages like “resource unavailable” or “try again later”…. Unable to watch any games right now. Sunday Ticket is very expensive and the only reason we have DIRECTV at all… I’ve been a loyal and patient customer of DIRECTV, but if the Sunday Ticket streaming doesn’t work, I no longer have a reason to deal with all of the other headaches and outages that come with being a DIRECTV customer. ### 1/5 — App not working… really bad and couldnt watch my matches on Sunday! *2022-09-18, version 5.9.001* Connection issues and getting resource unavailable error. None of the matches work in the app. Horrible experience with NFL Sunday Ticket this season so far. They should give the money back. Because there is no way they are the only one’s with working app. Their review definitely screams “bot.” ### 1/5 — Poor Service *2022-09-18, version 5.9.001* Horrible Service - the games stopped streaming and there contact support number sent me to AT&T who had no idea why I was being routed to them - their chat box didn’t work, sometimes did not allow you to send notes, and gave no useful info - often it sent us to inactive sites. Impossible to get ahold of someone who could help - when am I paying over $300 for no service and no product? ### 1/5 — Bugs Make App Worthlesd *2022-09-18, version 5.9.001* OK, it is Two Weeks in a row now the App has “crashed and burned.” The app froze and ends with a message that “resource unavailable!” Lucky I’m getting this App for free through my Direct TV subscription. If you are paying for it don’t wast your money and time. The NFL obviously hasn’t worked out the bugs in their App, even though we are on week two of the season. This is totally unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Location issues Says I am near a stadium and I couldn’t be farther away. *2022-09-11, version 5.9.001* Never had this issue till today the start of the 2022 season. Now I am being told I am near a stadium and am not allowed to stream. I am 80 plus miles from the closest stadium and never had this issue before and I am pretty sure I didn’t move. Cannot even find trouble shooting for this issue. Cannot wait till Direct TV no longer has control of this. I don’t have a TV in my home office and have to watch the games on my iPad. Looks like that is no longer possible. What a joke. For as much as this service costs we should be allowed to watch it anywhere we like. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me login *2022-08-20, version 5.8.112* After registering using a browser on a Windows PC, I completed the purchase of NFL Sunday Ticket. I then downloaded the app for my iPad, and tried to login. There is an error message, “the user and password are not recognized.” But I can still login to my account using a browser, and my account summary shows that I should be able to view live streams of NFL games. So, this is a fail. ### 1/5 — Shortcuts are messed up! *2021-09-21, version 4.9.015* This week (Sept. 19) in the app … you click on Shortcuts and you get 3 minutes of Highlights. You do not get the 30-minute full games. This has always worked in past. I love seeing all the plays. I hate just getting highlights. Please fix. This has been a 5-star app … until now. Thank you. I put on the TV and it only showed the Packers game. I was confused and then my mom told her coworkers said just download Sunday ticket it is free. Then I hooked it up on my device so now I can watch the Cardinals, Panthers and the Bears now. It is a great bonus for watching Sunday NFL ticket as a 3rd device in my room which I have to TVs setup. This also works great to if I am away from home and can catch up on the games. At times there may be some lag and some permissible delays, but that is to be expected. This is a live tv stream and cannot rewind as though you were at home. Possibly NFL rule but it is in the agreement. The app provides in picture option is great while looking up stats or fantasy football in others app which allows you to go back to the games easily. If the app is the only availability on Sunday to the games because you are never home, then this app will not provide the full experience. This may not be the best use of your money.
