ESPN allows you to watch these games live on a laptop or tv using many different services. This is a clear example of a monopoly and potentially some backdoor deals to ensure you purchase some other app that I’m sure they get paid from to ensure they maintain their monopoly on watching all games. Everyone wants to watch on a multitude of platforms and be able to watch games in or out of their area. Blackout games are so stupid as well. You should be able to watch all the games you want through some source for a reasonable price and they shouldn’t be monopolized or forced to only watch on a phone or tablet. I literally never leave reviews but this needs one. Apologies for the rant. But I want to be able to purchase this app and a subscription and watch it on my darn tv and it’s so complicated to get it to do that. Stop stacking them on top of each other. ### 1/5 — DAZN has killed NFL for me *2026-08-22* Most of us follow one team, so paying $40/mo for 3-4 games/mo is a ridiculous expense under an insatiable monopoly on NFL licensing. DAZN is a MINIMUM 10X as much per game compared to MLB and I'm only watching 17 regular season games. Forcing $340 for 17 games or $480 on monthly with no lower dedicated team only sub like MLB or NBA. Up from $160 direct from NFL GamePass! I can watch 3,660 MLB and NBA games for LESS than DAZN NFL and I don't have to go through DAZN's secondhand quality streaming service. Insane pricing and poor stream quality is an absolute black cloud over trying to watch NFL, which is what's going to push VPN routing and pirating further. I won't be paying the price anymore, and neither is my father. DAZN has ruined the experience and the NFL should dump them for direct streaming again, like the MLB and NBA. ### 1/5 — Id.nfl.com pop up doesn’t work on iPad. *2026-08-22, version 61.0.10* Signing in via the app on iPad initiates a pop up labeled id.nfl.com. This pop up never loads. It just sits there with the loading screen. I’ve tried every fix posted online and nothing works. I like to do it as well through my Samsung Smart Tv through the NFL app but the log in won’t work either. I hope this gets fixed before the season starts.
