### 4/5 — Great except for print function

*2020-05-04*

This works great for Creighton charting, except I can’t get the charts to print a complete cycle. This is a big problem when needing to submit them to doctors who want paper charts.

### 4/5 — No option to delete or change the length of a cycle once created

*2020-02-25*

Hi, I love the NFP charting app, so much easier and more practical to chart on your phone rather then paper...
nevertheless I had an issue with it recently when I went on to have an unusually long cycle. As you need to determine the lenght of your cycle at the beginning I couldn’t find an option to change this once I reached my usual length... Am I just missing something? Or is this option not available? Also can’t see how to delete a cycle in the app...
Can’t get the website running on any of my pcs, something about not supporting a common ssl?

### 4/5 — Day Count glitches a lot

*2020-02-07*

Great app and so much better than the paper charts! Have been using it for 3 cycles so far! My only gripe is that for some reason everytime I have to put in the day count it glitches and won’t let me put anything.

**Developer response:** Sorry you are having this issue. What I think may be happening is that if you try to enter a day count before you enter an indicator it will just reset that field back to blank. I will look into fixing this on a future update. If you have any other questions please email me at mschloapps@gmail.com.

### 4/5 — Love this app, but one minor fix...

*2019-12-26*

I’d love to be able to mark a cycle that’s fewer than 28 days long. I’ve had to fudge things multiple times due to a 26 day cycle.

The last update said that the length of a cycle can be edited if needed. Would it be possible for this to happen?

Thanks so much for helping NFP couples with this app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback!
The number of days in the cycle is sort of arbitrary, because you can create a new cycle on any day, you just cant have the same start date for multiple cycles. So even if you are unsure of how long it will be, you can create a new cycle when necessary. The app does not rely on a new cycle beginning only after the previous one ended. I am however thinking about changing how this is done in a future update to make it easier to start a new cycle straight from the editing screen to hopefully alleviate some of this confusion, and will remove the minimum of 28 days.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

### 4/5 — Glitchy email feature

*2019-12-13*

I actually really love this app for Creighton model charting. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use for the most part. My biggest gripe is that the export feature hasn’t been working very good for me. I have my email set up and everything. I set my chart just fine a month or so ago but I tried to set it last week and it seemed like it went through but I didn’t get the email until several days later. Once I finally got it I wasn’t able to actually open the file with my chart in it and neither was my practitioner. I really love this app and would even be willing to pay for it if this feature worked correctly.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry you are having this issue. I'm currently changing the way the app works to use the "share" function of the phone instead of only Mail for sharing the chart or exporting the database. After this change you will be able to use AirDrop, iMessage, email, save to files, etc. This update will be published very soon.

### 4/5 — Great nfp app!

*2019-08-28*

I think this is a great app for the creighton model and so nice not having to carry around stickers and paper. However, i tried emailing or exporting this to myself for a visit with my doctor and the “send” feature is not enabled when I click to export the chart. If you’re aware of any trouble shooting for this please let me know!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! To use the send or export features, you need to have an email account setup in the built in "Mail" app provided by Apple. It doesn't currently work with other mail apps like Gmail or Outlook. You can setup the Mail app and still continue to use those other email apps for your normal email, but then the NFP app will work. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or issues with the app (mschloapps@gmail.com).

### 5/5 — Moral , couple strengthening and spot on.

*2018-11-03, version 1.2.0*

The only way to try to conceive or postpone !

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not user friendly.

*2020-03-06*

This app is the least user friendly app I’ve seen.

Having to select the length of cycle before the cycle even starts just doesn’t make sense.

Having to manually select “update” each day means my charting doesn’t always get saved if I forget to click that.

There should be some sort of calendar which shows my charting by day and allows me to click on the day I want to update, instead of having to awkwardly scroll through day by day to update or see a previous day. It’s not easy to access the days I want to chart or previously charted.

I really wanted an app to be able to replace paper charting, and I’m extremely disappointed that this app, which is about the only creighton nfp app I can find, isn’t worth the time.

**Developer response:** Sorry you are having these issues.

Responses to your comments are as follows:

The cycle length is sort of arbitrary, in that a new cycle can be started on any day, so the number of days you pick doesn't really matter except for viewing the chart, as longer cycles will wrap to the next line when viewing. Also, the length of the cycle can be altered after the fact as well from the "Edit Cycles" tab.

I chose to manually select update (as opposed to saving whenever you swipe) so that you wouldn't accidentally save something you didn't want by swiping to the next day. I have received feedback about this previously and am considering changing this in a future update.

Under the "View/Share" tab, if you select the number of cycles you want to view, and click the "View" button, this shows you the chart like you would see it on the paper chart, and you can click and edit any day from that page.

If you have any further questions or issues, please email me at mschloapps@gmail.com

### 2/5 — Edited

*2019-01-07, version 1.4.0*

Allow for multiple peaks per cycle. Also need to allow for longer cycles than just forty days.

### 3/5 — Can’t see day number at the top

*2025-04-23*

On the iPhone 15 you can’t see the day number at the top of each day it’s cut off. But otherwise this has already been more helpful than my Creighton instructor on learning what to write each day!

### 3/5 — Good but could be better

*2021-03-04*

The app is far more convenient than lugging around the printed chart or trying to remember everything at the end of the day. It is fairly simple to use, but I do have some suggestions for improvement:
Allow for longer cycles. For some that have irregular cycles, they can go for longer than 32 days. Either allow for a 35 day and 40 day, or try to get away from making people pick a cycle length at all. Consider instead a pop up box when someone enters an indicator that is considered a period day, asking them if they would like to start a new cycle. Or add it to the list of selections for each day.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! I would like to point out that the length of the cycle can be modified from the "Edit Cycles" tab by swiping to the left on the cycle you want to modify and clicking "Edit". This functionality is depicted in the screenshots of the app on the app store. My wife mentioned something similar to me about your idea for starting a new cycle, and I will consider something like that in a future update.

### 3/5 — Lack collaborative sync

*2020-05-17*

I love the Creighton method, but we will be sticking with paper charting for our full time charting for now. My biggest ask would be to have a sort of collaboration feature in which either I or my husband could chart and then our apps would sync together. Most of the time, my husband charts on paper for me, so it helps encourage a shared experience. This app doesn’t support that currently, because it is on one phone or the other. The current share feature seems to be more for sharing with a practitioner or doctor. If either my husband or I could chart and sync our apps together, it would boost the potential for me to use the app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. There is currently no way for this to happen automatically, however what works well for me and my wife is that every so often I use the backup tab to export the database, and send that to my wife to import (also from the backup tab) into the app on her phone, which overwrites the data currently on her phone. If she wants, she can make changes and send it back to me to import.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments (mschloapps@gmail.com).

### 3/5 — Convenient but clunky

*2019-09-02*

As a person who travels often, I’m excited I can now chart from my phone. I love the format for each day and how easy it is to input the information and add notes.

Challenges I’ve had include that YOU HAVE TO SELECT “Update” FOR EACH DAY TO SAVE TO THE CHART. I routinely forget this, so I wish the app automatically updated. Also, you have to select the number of days in your cycle at the beginning of the cycle, which is challenging to predict for me. It would be much easier if one of the drop-downs on the daily charting screen was “1st day of new cycle?” and the app could create the cycle automatically.

Minor things Include: I can’t see what I’m typing in the notes section as I’m typing, and I can’t view the entire cycle on one screen. (I’d love if I could turn my phone and automatically see the whole thing in landscape view like apple calendar’s weekly view).

Overall, I’m thankful for this app and will continue to use it, though I’m hopeful future versions will become more user-friendly.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback!

I will consider removing the update button and having it save when swiping to the next day. I originally did not do this because the layout of the app before may have made it easier to accidentally overwrite data.

For your other concerns, I didn't notice the notes issue until after I released the app, but plan on addressing that in a future update. Also, the number of days in the cycle is sort of arbitrary, because you can create a new cycle on any day, you just cycles cant have the same start date for multiple cycles. So even if you are unsure of how long it will be, you can create a new cycle when necessary. The app does not rely on a new cycle beginning only after the previous one ended.

I will consider adding a calendar view in a future update.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments (mschloapps@gmail.com).

### 4/5 — Good for Creighton Model, not user friendly

*2023-11-05*

I like this app for charting, but I wish there was an option for it to show the dates in calender view when you show multiple cycles together. I also wish there was an insights tab where it shows how the cycles compare to each other. Otherwise, it is very helpful.

### 4/5 — User friendly

*2023-02-27*

Great alternative to paper charting. Please update to allow for multiple colors ie BC or PGY. Currently you can only choose one which is limiting. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Glad there is an app

*2021-08-31*

So glad there is an app for Creighton charting. Two things I have on the wish list:
1. I wish that when viewing 6 or more cycles on my iPhone, it would be formatted better with the start of each cycle on a new line. It’s formatted correctly when viewing 3 months but not when viewing more than 3 months. Makes hard to read and share.
2. I wish that the number of days in each cycle would be indefinite, automatically numbered til the next cycle begins. Not a big deal. Just have to go back and edit the cycle once it’s over.

### 4/5 — Share feature doesn’t work consistently

*2021-02-23*

This app is phenomenal! It makes it easy to chart each day.
However, I tried to share via email with my NFP instructor and she didn’t get it. It did share via iMessage with my husband. This is a crucial feature hat should be fixed.
I understand the cycle length is arbitrary since you can override, but it would still be nice to be able to change it after initially setting up a new cycle. Plus, a cycle was longer than expected and I couldn’t add more days.
Overall, this is such a helpful app. Thank you for creating it!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review! I have not experienced the issue you mention with emailing the chart when emailing with my wife. As far as cycle length, the length of the cycle can be modified from the "Edit Cycles" tab by swiping to the left on the cycle you want to modify and clicking "Edit". This is depicted in the screenshots of the app on the app store.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best app for NFP!

*2024-03-08, version 2.1.5*

Thank you for developing this app for NFP! It is so convenient to not have paper charting!

### 5/5 — The best!

*2023-06-29, version 2.1.5*

This is better than paper charting! Flexible, easy to use, and simple. I love it!

### 5/5 — Wonderful App for Creighton Method Tracking

*2021-12-19*

I love having this app available to assist with tracking my wife’s cycle. Our son sleeps in our room and is a very light sleeper, so it was very inconvenient to try tracking via paper at the end of the day without a light. My wife and I are able to consistently track her cycle with ease using this app. I do wish we could sync this app between our phones, so she could see the chart in real time - possibly if we could have a shared account for her to long into when needed?

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2021-02-26, version 2.1.5*

Very useful for charting! Easy to use!

### 5/5 — Awesome!!

*2020-10-11, version 2.1.5*

I love this app it is just like the paper charting I was doing with the billings method but it’s way more thorough than I was being. Each field is important, and it invites me to be more attentive to the sensations. Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — Great app and excellent support from the developer!

*2020-10-08*

After 18 years of practicing NFP we switched from paper charts to this app, which I’ve been using now for 18 months. Before this app, it was a hassle to keep the paper charts in a convenient location, not run out of stickers, and record observations nightly, so I often would update every few days (error prone). With this app it is easy and enjoyable to chart consistently every night and collaborate with our NFP practitioner. Very helpful!

### 5/5 — Thoughtful, terrific app for NFP Creighton

*2020-08-12*

Favorite features:
-Takes the guesswork out of stamps
-Dropdown options make charting so easy
-Option to share as HTML link (for instructor) or as file to load into same app on another’s (husband’s) iPhone if desired

Tips
-Whatever cycle length you indicate DOESN’T MATTER as it can be overwritten by future cycles
-Press UPDATE to save each day

I am so grateful for this excellent app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review, I'm glad you are enjoying the app!
I'd like to point out that in last update (2.1.3), I changed it so that in addition to the Update button, your info is saved when swiping left or right, or using the arrow buttons. I received numerous requests for that and am glad to finally have it included.

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2020-01-12*

What a great app. I am passionate about nfp and would like to consider how my family can support you with this app. Are you able to email me or provide me with your email?

**Developer response:** Thank you for your comment! I can be reached at mschloapps@gmail.com with any comments or questions.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2019-10-24*

I love this app and it has made it convenient and easy with tracking my cycle. However, I accidentally deleted the wrong cycle. Is there a way to retrieve that back?

Besides that I love this app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback!

All your data is stored locally on your device, so unfortunately there is no way to recover it. This was because I did not want users to have to create an account to use the app, or have the app require internet access to retrieve information. If you happened to export your database previously with that cycle, you could re-import it and it would be back, but besides that, it is probably lost.

### 5/5 — Great NFP app!

*2019-07-03*

Love this, great for charting. Thank you for creating this, it has made charting so easy!

It anything, it would be great if my spouse could download the app and login to see my chart as well!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! Not the most convenient method, but you can somewhat accomplish syncing between phones with the "Import/Export" function. Or if your spouse only wants to view the chart, a picture of it (as an HTML file) can be sent using the Send function from the "View Cycles" tab. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or issues with the app (mschloapps@gmail.com).
