But… *2023-06-30* I love the game but you should put some liveries and more cars. Honestly we need more and put more stuff in the game. It’s perfect but we need more types of cars like JDM, American muscle, Hypercars, supercars, and others! What I don’t like mostly about this game is there isn’t enough spots for the showroom. There’s only 5 spots and I think there needs to be more. Like a maximum of 20 cars and that will be good for the game. I appreciate who made this game but we need more things. I would love to do other things to the car too like change how the doors look, or what the windows look like, or what the roof looks like. And performance, I want to put upgrades on the car like better exhaust, or better engine, turbo, NOS,and others. That’s all I have to say for now but don’t make it too complex. ### 4/5 — Amazing except needs more trucks *2022-11-14, version 1.5.0* I absolutely love this game and I’ve had it for only two days but there’s kinda a problem there’s about 4 trucks total in the game and you can’t change the tire size. I just wish they would add the Nissan Toyota and ford and Chevy and gmc trucks. It is fun designing your dream car or your dream garage. This are some suggestions that I think should be added to the game. I think they should add more like some of the cars from this year and add another type car upgrade like you should be able to tune your car, I’m not saying to add a mode where you can drive the car all I’m saying is add a button or something so you can here what your car sounds like and you can probably change the sound of the car and don’t you think it’s cool what your car sounds like with pop sound and the backfires🔥. Like really? Does any app run decent on hardware that old? This runs flawlessly on iPhone 8 and up. It’s not the developers. Ask your parents for an upgrade this Christmas or find a job pays more than minimum wage. ### 4/5 — It’s great but need test driving *2019-11-27, version 1.3.10* The whole game itself is great although it would be nice to be able to drive the cars and maybe change other parts of the car such as the engine. Also when I finish my car and try to save it the game crashes and the car is then deleted so that’s an issue with the game other than that keep up the good work!!! ### 5/5 — Wish there were more *2019-11-09, version 1.3.10* I wanted a game that had a bunch of customization involved with cars and this is that game. I wish that there were more crates to come and way more options for every car. Not only on the outside but the interior too. I would love many more ways to make these cars better than stock and I wish we could also tune engines, tires and wheels, and suspension, I know you could tune suspension, but I wish for more options. What would even be cooler would be if the added a area where you could test out your vehicles. In the end this is a great game with lots of effort put into it. ### 5/5 — I Don't like EA, BUT... *2019-10-29, version 1.3.8* This New NFS is looking promising hopefully the game is fully functional, now to the actual app review. The app in itself is a little lacking in customization of the actual parts it would've been amazing if there was a feature like NFS: carbon where one could customize all parts of the car. Color customization is pretty simple pick materials and color decals are a little limited as well but im guessing the full game will add many more actual car parts are varied on modern cars but are limited on classics. I do feel that the app has enough car and customization variation to keep it entertaining. I fully customized my Mitsubishi lancer evo and feel fulfilled to what ive made. So in short the app is good but could be made better over time. And recently they even made a trailer with my EVO so im happy with how this game and app are doing so far. Hopefully EA wont intervine with the devs of the game. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2019-10-26, version 1.3.8* I love the app I’ve fixed up a few cars there are a few cars I wish I’d see added such as a 1996 Honda Civic 2 door a 1963 Chevy II nova and some diesel trucks to do a off road type design but other than wishing to see those and some more crates the game is great graphics are amazing loads quickly and I’ve already seen some of my favorite cars!!! ### 4/5 — Fun but some bugs *2019-10-22, version 1.3.8* I love customizing the cars and it’s super fun to make them your own. The latest drop, container 10, there is a Subaru Impreza STI and you can’t access some of the fenders other bumpers. It says, ‘incompatible with fender’ for example and then I go to change the fender and it says ‘incompatible with side skirts’ and I can’t change see a whole configuration option. Would like some insight on this, thanks ### 4/5 — More options for most cars *2019-10-17, version 1.3.8* So, I would give it a 5 star rating but, i saw some options for cars in the actual game, but I don’t see them here. I know I’m just complaining and should just deal with it, but if I wanted to make a underground 1, 2, maybe even carbon and the kits in heat, I would. So unless your still working on it, that’s great, and it takes a long time, just add the options from the other need for speed games as well. ### 3/5 — Not bad. Needs performance updates. *2019-10-16, version 1.2.7* So I like this app a lot. Like. A lot a lot. I love customising cars. But I don’t like the fact that it lags real hard out of nowhere and that it can glitch and lose progress easily. My biggest complaint is that when customising Rims, if I do the front rims a specific way, tuning the colors and getting specific brake callipers, I want the same for the back tires. Rarely it’ll ask me if I want all the rims the same. I’ll say yes and The only thing that happens is the stock rims get the color and that’s it. It doesn’t change anything and it makes me honestly not want to customise anything anymore. But hey once it’s fixed I’m down to customise every car. But so far this is discouraging me from buying the full game. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I don’t know what planet the top reviewer is living on *2021-01-03, version 1.5.0* This app has great potential dont get me wrong but decals will arbitrarily disappear from your car and it’s a glitchy mess with the decal movement. The fact that I can’t successfully create a decal in this app without accidentally moving something, or a decal straight up just disappearing makes it an absolute waste of time to use. It is cool however that I can kit the car out and see it visually without buying in game. And to the top reviewer device shaming strangers, I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max on the latest OS build... so no... it’s not the device ### 1/5 — App Doesn't Open *2020-04-20, version 1.5.0* I started playing NFS Heat on the PS4 for about a week and a half now. Then I saw that there is an app where you can customize your rides through your phone and when I saw the preview I thought it would be a lot essier to customize the cars from the app rather in-game. I downloaded the app and it doesn't open. I deleted it and downloaded again to see if that fixed my problem and nothing. Then I restarted my phone and nothing as well. I highly doubt the problem is my phone because it says it's compatible with it but for a first impresion this app was extremely disappointing. Hoping that the game fixes this problem. ### 1/5 — K here me out EA on both of these complaints *2019-10-23, version 1.3.8* I would give 4 stars but right now I need your attention. Fix this and I will give this 4 stars and buy the actual game in 2 weeks. I am using it on iOS. But I had a complaint regarding this app. When I try to customize the wrap on my Plymouth roadrunner it drops to about 5fps and it’s uncustomizable like this. It does not happen with any other of my cars. Additionally my account keeps saying that it sent instructions to complete my registration but I haven’t seen anything in my mail and it keeps randomly disconnecting from my account. Hoping you guys can help. So far the rest works fine. A recommendation that I would like to see for customization is adding the option to enable typing to add a sticker for a wrap like in nfs 2015 it would really help out thank you for listening. Reply to this and add your developer email and I will adress this there. ### 2/5 — Great app only if would fully work *2020-12-20, version 1.5.0* I would give this game 4 stars but each time I try to use one of my wraps on a car in the actual Need for Speed game for my PS4 it doesn’t work for example I tried applying a wrap to my GTR Skyline and it said there was no account connected to NFS studios and to download it so I checked on NFS studios to see if my email was connected and it was so I disconnected the email and connected it again to NFS studios and tried to apply the wrap to my car in the NFS heat PS4 game again and it still didn’t work so I don’t know what to do so if this problem can get fixed it would be greatly appreciated. ### 2/5 — Not impressed *2019-08-27, version 1.0.7* Interesting concept coming up with an app to show you the customization before the game launches. App itself needs work, bugs seems to crash the app a lot after “multiple” car customizations saved. Developer needs to work on their deliveries, it’s been two days since they “claimed” new cars to be unlocked and yet it still appears to be “remind me” Last to the game, I checked the car list, felt very disappointed. I mean, where’s the classic? And when did widebody became a thing? I love how the game is open to flexible customization your cars, but some of the body kits are just obnoxious. ### 2/5 — Great Idea But Many Flaws *2019-08-20, version 1.0.1* I love the idea of creating your car before the game comes out because it gives me something to look forward to, but there are many issues in this app. I have an IPhone 6 Plus and the app likes to crash a lot. If I’m lucky I will be able to mostly complete a built Miata but the game always crashes before I finish. Also, in customization (at least with the Miata) when Irtysh to do spoiler and diffuser customization, once you put a part on you can’t take it off. This is a great idea that NFS has made and I haven’t seen anything like this before but these flaws I have listed are very important to the development of this app and they need to be the top priority to fix. ### 2/5 — Buggy but it’s a good idea *2019-08-19, version 1.0.1* Where can I report issues? I have a screenshot that shows what I’m talking about. 1) transparent decals over black become bright opaque colors rather than remaining dark. In general, translucent decals over opaque ones seems sketchy. 2) the 240Z rear wheel is not centered in the wheel arch for the LB rear fender. 3) reverting to the “nonexistent” stock option for certain things like roof lights does not work. 4) Duplicating a wheel setup across all 4 wheels does not transfer rim, tire or brake setup. Just color, which gets reset if you try to change the rim. I discovered these bugs in about 20 minutes of messing around. Fail. Does EA not do QA? ### 3/5 — EA account connect issue *2022-04-04, version 1.5.0* This app would be better for me if I was actually able to connect to my EA account. Idk about for many people, but I do know for me this is a huge issue. I can use the app clear as day, but when I want to connect my ea account to it, it says there is a problem and will send me an email to fix it. When it says that though I never get the email. So for me imma be giving the app a 3 star but the game itself is really fun. Hope they resolve this issue rather quickly. ### 3/5 — It would be great if... *2021-03-28, version 1.5.0* All cars and all items that were ever in the NFS franchise to be put into this app. I know it’s for one specific game to have the cars used in this app to transfer through one’s EA account. The app is beautiful, but it is limited of locations of where you can put your car and to test drive it in the app (locations of scenery). As well as more menu functions to have people to get in the app regularly and not once in a while. I’m sure there’s more ideas I can think of, but now at this moment. ### 3/5 — Technical Issues *2020-04-06, version 1.5.0* So I bought the game Need For Speed last a couple days ago and there was an option given to download the companion app NFS Studio. So I was able to download and I tried logging in into my EA account but the keyboard won’t display. I am unable to log in into my account so what is the point of having a showcase room if I can’t have it displayed for others to see. Not to mention the lack of customization there is for the cars. I was only able to find one of the cars that I owned in the game. The Black Market cars aren’t in the app as far as I know. The cool thing about it is that when you link your account to the app from the device that u use to play “NFS HEAT” u can get the style with the car that u customized from the app wirelessly if u have the exact same car that u used in the game. I also found a bug in the app: When I put a decal on the right side of the car, it goes on perfectly. But on the other side of it, the decal counts off and my cars look unfinished in the workshop.
