And reduced capabilities. Having a bill pay monthly schedule to a person has been removed? And while I was on the phone with NGFCU fixing another problem, accessing the website from work, it was flagged as suspicious activity and took a day to regain, after I called again complaining about the lack of access… no email nor text notifying me there was suspicious activity ### 3/5 — Need to Fix Credit Card Payment *2026-04-10, version 4020.1.0* While I appreciate the effort to update the app, I do not like how difficult it was to pay my credit card balance using an external account. For those with the same issue, you need to select “Card Hub” (not “Pay”) to pay via the in-app browser, which redirects to the card carrier website. NGFCU support says that the only way to pay through their system from an external account is to transfer into a NGFCU account and pay from there as if this was a totally normal and convenient way to pay a bill. My iPad sits on the Magic Keyboard stand and is essentially a laptop for my uses. The lack of landscape mode means I have to remove the iPad from the keyboard stand or just use my iPhone for NGFCU. ### 3/5 — Version update bug *2023-12-14, version 2023.334.0* I lost landscape view on the iPad with the latest version update. ### 1/5 — Zelle transfer *2023-06-30, version 2022.174.0* Fix zelle can’t use zelle app because it takes me to this bank app and zelle don’t work on this ### 1/5 — Zelle *2023-01-08, version 2022.174.0* I have been sending money through Zelle into my account but when I try to access and send money elsewhere through my NGFCU account it says “unknown error” what is with this? I can Zelle my money from my other accounts in, but I can’t Zelle it to my other accounts from my NGFCU??? Disappointing. It just keeps saying unknown error. Now I have to figure out how to transfer my OWN money using another method different from the one I originally used. Useless waste of my time trying to fight to find the ‘sweet spot’. Poorly implemented front end; ashamed that I haven’t pulled my money and let this app go the way of the beta-max. ### 1/5 — Unable to set up app properly *2025-11-01, version 2024.164.0* I’ve been using this app fine for several years. Then this weekend it wouldn’t deposit my check. Got an error message. Fine, deleted and redownloaded the app. Now the app keeps “failing to set up properly”. So I’m up a creek. Then I realize it’s been over a year since there was an update to this app. How a banking institute can be so unserious with security and technology is beyond me. Save your sanity. *2025-05-05, version 2024.164.0* Probably the most annoying app I’ve had to use. I’ve deleted it at this point and just started using the website instead. You have to accept a disclosure every single time and the accept button does not always work even after you drop down all the way as required. Nearly broke my phone trying to hit accept buttons from the frustration. You have to do the same on the website but that works at least. ### 1/5 — Bug *2024-08-02, version 2024.164.0* Totally shocked my money hasn't disappeared yet. Everything about this app is sketchy ### 1/5 — What happened to bill pay *2024-07-19, version 2024.164.0* I tried to pay some bills through billpay, but it did not let me because it said I had no bills named to pay and no bill history so what is the problem? ### 1/5 — Doesn't show interest due when using payment feature! *2024-03-17, version 2023.334.0* App is very handy but when you go to pay off the overdraft protection using the payment feature, it doesn't show the interest due until you payoff the amount shown in the payment/transfer page! Example, showed $550.00 due, after making the payment, it showed $0.12 due. So it doesn't shows at any point the interest due! Now I have to do another payment for the balance due. This issue needs to be fixed or having instructions showing on how you can find the interest due so a person can include it in the payment!! Please fix this!!! New review 17 March 2024: Changing my star rating to one star due to the latest update. I use both my iPad and iPhone on this app but the latest update made it difficult to use the app on my iPad!! Why did they take away the opportunity from the customer to be able to use the app in the landscape position on the iPad? Ever since I’ve used the app on my iPad, you could always use it in the landscape but now I’m forced to use it in the portrait position and hold my pad different than the way I’ve been using which makes it very difficult!!!!! My iPad, if it is plugged into the bottom of the pad, I now have to unplug the power cord due to having to hold my pad out away from me in the portrait position and cause stress on my fingers due it not being small like a phone. Please give the customer the option to select how to view the display! Give them the option to let it rotate so it can be used landscaped please just like it always has been for many years!! If I put the app on my smart TV, would I have to pull my TV off the wall and turn it vertical on its end to use the app? I don’t thinks so but you took it away from the customer to choose using their iPad. Maybe the app designer uses his phone to design the app and prefers portrait? Maybe they should think of the customer!! Please update the app to allow for rotation for the user to decide which way they want to view it! Serving employees of Northrop Grumman and LA Metro since 1946!
