## What is NGP?

Zažijte nevšední dobrodružství při interaktivní prohlídce středověkých obrazů 
expozice Středověké umění v Čechách a střední Evropa 1200–1550  umístěné v prostorách Kláštera sv. Anežky České. Slovem a obrazem vám zprostředkuje zajímavé informace týkající se námětů, použitých technik, autorství a procesu tvorby obrazů,  které patří k nejcennějším ve sbírkách Národní galerie v Praze. Množství reprodukcí nabídne pohled pod povrch malby,  do skrytých vrstev, které nejsou pouhým okem viditelné, včetně podkresby, jež byla důležitou fází vzniku deskové malby a jež je mimořádně poutavým dokladem toho, jak tato díla byla vytvářena v dobových malířských dílnách. Uživatel může sám prozkoumat nejzajímavější detaily snímků podkreseb, s nimiž ve svých výzkumech pracovali odborníci Národní galerie. Aplikace však též přiblíží detaily konečné malby, které mnohdy dnešní divák nezaznamená, případně si neuvědomí jejich funkci a význam. 
V našem výběru jsou zastoupeny jak nejstarší památky deskového malířství spjatých s činností dílny Mistra Vyšebrodského oltáře, Mistra Theodorika a Mistra Třeboňského oltáře, tak pozdně gotické a raně renesanční deskové obrazy dílen Mistra Svatojiřského oltáře, Mistra Litoměřického oltáře či Monogramisty IW. Aplikace tak všem zájemcům o poklady středověkého výtvarného umění přináší nové pohledy na známá díla vznikající v zemích Koruny české v průběhu více než dvou staletí.

Let us invite you to an interactive exploration of medieval paintings 		
displayed in the collection of Medieval Art in Bohemia and Central Europe 1200–1550 that is located at Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia. A number of pictures and comments will provide you with a lot of interesting information regarding the iconography and techniques  of some key medieval panel paintings originating at the territory of the Czech lands. You will also learn about their authors and the process of their creation. IRR pictures will enable you to look into hidden layers of the artefacts that are not visible for the naked eye namely the underdrawing. The underdrawing represents a very important step in the process of creation of a given art work and tells us a lot about the interventions of all those who participated being members of medieval master's workshop. Everyone can examine some most interesting samples of the material that has been recently analysed by the researchers of the National Gallery. Moreover, the application will also show you (and comment upon) a large number of details that are visible but may escape the attention of viewers or are not so easy to understand nowadays. 
Our selection encompasses earliest examples of panel painting associated with famous workshops of the Master of the Vyšší Brod Altarpiece, Master Theodoricus and Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece, as well as late Gothic and early Renaissance panel paintings produced in the workshops of the Master of the St George Altarpiece, Master of the Litoměřice Altarpiece and Monogrammist IW. This collection, therefore, represents the most renowned masterpieces created throughout two centuries in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown (1330–1550) while presenting details that often escape our attention or are not visible at all.

Zajímavý koncept, který propojuje návštěvu galerie s moderními technologiemi. Díky telefonu jsem se mohl podívat na skryté části obrazů. 
Seznam děl je přehledný a jednoduchý k orientaci.

Oceňuji nápad  propojení statické výstavy s mobilní aplikací, kde se mohu dozvědět spoustu podrobností, které by mi jinak unikly. Zvlášť na tabletu kvůli velikosti obrazovky je to super.  Doprovodný text je skvěle vyladěn, jasně a srozumitelně podané.  
Pokud se uvažuje o nové verzi, bylo by příjemné, aby text byl namluven. Návštěvník galerie by si jej mohl spouštět jako audiostopu do sluchátek a zároveň prohlížet dílo v životní velikosti.  A to co je očím skryté, pak zkoumat pomocí této mobilní aplikace.

Je úžasné, že každý, kdo má zájem, si může sám kdykoliv prohlédnout to, co dosud mohli spatřit jen odborníci. Výklady děl jsou podnětné a bez nánosu oborného argonu. Skládačky nejsou vůbec snadné.
