## What is Nibble?

Nibble brings your dog’s everyday feeding and progress records into one clear routine. See food portions and a treat budget, note BCS 1–9, record weigh-ins and keep progress photos together so changes are easier to follow over time.

Nibble brings feeding guidance, weigh-ins, and progress photos together in one practical record.

More than half of all cats and dogs are overweight, and most owners don't realize it. Nibble uses the Body Condition Score (BCS) that vets rely on to help you see your pet clearly, then helps you build a clear feeding and progress routine.

FIND OUT IF YOUR PET IS OVERWEIGHT
· Feel the ribs, check the waist: BCS 1–9 self-assessment with illustrations that morph as you score
· Risk alerts based on breed, neutering, age and activity level

KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH TO FEED — IN GRAMS
· Daily calorie budget computed from the target weight
· Enter the calorie density from your food bag and the budget turns into grams per day and per meal
· A separate treat allowance (≤10% of calories) with one-tap logging and custom treats by weight

SAFETY FIRST
· Hard guardrails on weekly weight loss: ≤1.5% for dogs, ≤0.7% for cats
· Cats must never lose weight fast — Nibble enforces this rule at every step
· All numbers are reasonable starting points, not medical advice. Confirm the plan with your vet before starting.

BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL
· Trend line and milestones, with instant coach feedback after every weigh-in
· Plateau explanations right when motivation is most fragile
· Monthly photo comparisons so you can see the change
· A home-screen widget that keeps progress in sight
· Maintenance mode kicks in at goal weight to prevent rebound

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
· Fully offline. No account. No data collection.

Losing the weight is the easy part — keeping it off is what counts. Start with a BCS score today.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.1 — 2026-09-17

We refreshed the App Store preview screens.

### 1.7 — 2026-09-15

Refined localization and clarified feeding guidance, weigh-ins, and progress records.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-08

Now supports iOS 15 and more devices, from iPhone 6s onward.
The body condition score (BCS) illustrations have been redrawn.
Data migration on older devices is more reliable and much faster.
Various stability fixes.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-30

Fixed an issue where the treat list and other content could show up in the wrong language on some devices. Switching languages in the app now takes effect right away. Plus a few stability improvements.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-26

A weight-tracking fix release.

• If a pet's weight dropped below its target weight, Nibble could still say "You've arrived". It now tells you the weight has gone under target instead.
• When the weight is coming off too fast, that reminder is shown first, ahead of any congratulations — this matters most for cats.
• The Home Screen widget had the same problem and now reads the weight the same way the app does.
• Other small stability improvements.
