A flash of inspiration, into a story in your hands.
You bring the story. The AI writes a first draft. You decide what happens, and nothing enters your book until you say it is right. Set the story up once, then write it one episode at a time.
READING MODE (NEW)
Pick one of 24 starter stories and episode one starts right away. At the end of each episode, choose one of two paths and the next episode follows it. Switch between Read and Write anytime in Settings. Same free rules. Illustrations too.
WHOSE WORK IS IT
Polishing an AI draft does not make the writing yours. To make an episode your own, write it yourself: Author Mode lets you write episode one alone, and Continue writing myself lets you keep going by hand — the AI never touches a word you typed.
SET THE STORY UP ONCE
A title, a genre (romance, romantic fantasy, mystery, slice of life, coming-of-age, historical, isekai, action fantasy), a style, the era and world (each episode runs about 700–800 words), and up to four characters and how they relate.
Idea Notes holds the plot you are not ready to use yet. Nothing written there is ever sent to the AI.
WRITE AN EPISODE
Type one line about what should happen this time. The AI writes a draft in your genre, style and length. Then you work on it.
- Polish in your own words or with one tap (Sweeter, Add a twist, More dialogue).
- Rewrite a single sentence, or restore an earlier version.
- Review, then send: the AI re-reads recent episodes and your cast to flag contradictions (1 Ink through episode 10, 2 Ink after that; free for subscribers).
Confirm the episode and it goes onto your bookshelf.
ILLUSTRATIONS
- Episode illustrations: the AI draws the episode's most picture-like moment, or you pick the place, time and mood.
- Character portraits keep the same face and outfit in later scenes.
- Show it before the text, or hide it at the end and tap to reveal it. One free edit each.
- First illustration free with a one-time pass (watch an ad as episode 4 starts); then buy one, use Ink, or subscribe.
Every illustration is labeled "AI-generated" and stays on this device.
ALSO IN THE APP
On-device voice input, color moods, share cards and links. The AI writes in English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish or Simplified Chinese.

WHERE YOUR STORY GOES
No account. Your novels stay on this device. Writing an episode or an illustration sends the story so far to the AI (Google Gemini), and the app asks for your agreement first. Idea Notes are never sent.
No feed of other people's stories, no character chat. Share only the episodes you choose, as a link.
