## What is Nice Clear Weather?

Weather information without the clutter. ClearWeather gives you exactly what you need — current conditions, hourly and 10-day forecasts, precipitation, wind, air quality, and geomagnetic activity — all in a clean, fast interface.

Instant & Reliable Weather loads instantly from cache the moment you open the app. Fresh data updates seamlessly in the background. Works offline too — when you have no connection, you still see your last weather data with a clear indication of when it was updated.

Multiple Cities Track weather for all the places that matter to you. Swipe between cities or manage them from the city list. Your current location updates automatically as you move.

Two Weather Providers Choose between Apple WeatherKit and Google Weather API. Pick the source that works best for your region.

• Fixed bars not starting from the 0% baseline — bars now sit flush on the bottom axis
• Replaced abrupt 3-color scheme with a smooth color gradient that transitions naturally from light blue (low probability) to deep blue (high probability)
• Fixed Y-axis grid lines not aligning with their labels (25%, 50%, 75%, 100% lines now match the actual data scale)

• Rounded only the top corners of bars for a cleaner, Apple Weather-style appearance

Bug Fix: Widget location not updating when changing places
• Fixed an issue where the widget would display the previous location's weather data until the app was manually opened
• The app now detects location changes when returning to the foreground and updates the widget automatically
• Added background location monitoring so the widget refreshes when you travel to a new area
• Fixed the widget showing the old city name even after moving to a different location

Weather Data Provider Migration
• Replaced Open-Meteo weather API with Apple WeatherKit for all weather data (current conditions, hourly forecasts, daily forecasts, and severe weather alerts)
• Weather data now comes directly from Apple's native weather service for improved accuracy and reliability

Multi-City Weather Support
• Save multiple cities — Search and add cities from the city list, accessible via the list button in the top-right corner.
• Swipe between cities — Swipe left and right to quickly switch between your saved locations, just like Apple Weather.
• My Location — Your current GPS location is always available as the first page with a location pin indicator.
• City list management — View all saved cities with live temperatures and conditions. Reorder, delete, or add cities from the list view.
• Page dots — A bottom indicator shows which city you're viewing, with a location icon for your current location.

iOS 26 Liquid Glass Design
• Adopted the new Liquid Glass material on navigation controls for a modern, translucent look.

• The app now shows your street address or neighbourhood below the city name when using current location.
• Increased GPS accuracy to provide more precise coordinates for location lookup.
• The app now waits for a sufficiently accurate GPS fix before fetching weather, instead of using a rough cached position.
• Added fallback to display neighbourhood, suburb, or district when a specific street name is not available.

Precipitation card redesign:
• The precipitation panel on the main screen now shows the chance of rain for the next hour front and center, with a clear "Next hour" label so you always know the timeframe at a glance.
• Hourly precipitation preview — A small bar chart at the bottom of the card gives you a quick visual of precipitation chances over the next 6 hours, making it easy to plan ahead without tapping into the detail view.
