MY GLITCH !! *2023-08-20* The app is personally amazing the only problem is that I’ve been have issues with trying to open the app. When I try to open the app it pauses and then closes itself sadly I've already done almost everything to try and fix this issue but it still hasn’t worked or even started to fix. The one thing I wish would be changed is that when I import a group photo, it cuts out the edges so I can’t see the whole thing. Other than that, I’m literally in love with this app. Thanks for reading! ### 3/5 — Man I wanted to love this… *2022-08-27, version 1.7.6* It does have some AWESOME features, but ultimately wasn’t versatile enough for my needs. Huge drawback: no way (that I saw) to resize the dimensions of the “page” you’re given to work with. Fonts were very limited, and there should be a way to create custom text box sizes. The style of the graphics was really nice, and working with them pretty easy, but there just wasn’t enough variety. For instance, there should be way more themes and color schemes available. But if you are content to work within the limited aesthetic style offered, this app would definitely be worth the low annual price. I’m going to keep watching it and hoping more variety and flexibility is built into the program, because it has real promise! ### 4/5 — It is a nice app *2022-03-24, version 1.7.5* ✨It is a nice app but when you go click on a different picture to move you have to make sure that you clicked on it. Sometimes you can only get 6 pictures on the collage. I really like backgrounds but the pretty ones are locked you have to pay for them! You have to pay for some pro version and you can’t use certain things like cute backgrounds or stickers and that kind of stuff. I would love more backgrounds like snow or flowers. Thanks. ### 3/5 — Aesthetically Pleasing But Needs Better Text Feature *2021-04-07, version 1.6.1* It looks amazing aesthetically and I love the typography options but I can’t seem to be able to really write on it as it stays a single line no matter how long what I write is. If I write a paragraph it stays a single line, the rest just goes off the page. I would like to use it for Instagram poetry but unfortunately the text option is rather limited to single words or sentences. Should this be changed I’d give it five stars and likely get the pro version. ### 4/5 — 🤓🤓🤓 *2021-04-07, version 1.6.1* So it’s an awesome app. Totally great. Very dope. Very nice variety of stickers and stuff. But. It started messing up on me after I had it about two months. Not sure if it was an app thing or my phone? None of my other apps were going that. So I think it was an issue with Nichi. And I would say to put more background pictures for available usage. That would be soooo much nicer than just the few they have. But yeah! Keep up the amazing work ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2020-07-28, version 1.6.0* This is such an amazing picture collaging app— also very pretty and aesthetic designs. Even though not everything is unlocked when you don’t pay for the pro version, a lot of items are usable even if you don’t purchase the pro version. I’ve tested lots of collaging apps that have all the not so pretty designs unlocked while all the pretty designs are locked except for when you purchase the pro version. Overall, Nichi is a great app! Great aesthetic, pretty designs and quick loading. Definitely recommend! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — SCAM *2024-05-05* Don’t waste your time, at least in America. I guess all these positive reviews are bots. All of the templates were blank until you click on the thumbnail, then you can see it (except 5 you could see the thumbnail without clicking on it first.) When I tried to create from scratch it wouldn’t let me give the app access to only certain albums. I couldn’t get to any of the stickers. Then I couldn’t figure out how to upload a pic after giving limited access (or trying to.)The settings menu is lacking. I’m gonna go cancel my subscription trial ASAP! So disappointed because it looked like the perfect thing to do while feeling anxious. Back to the App Store I go. ### 1/5 — App is broken IOS 16.6 *2023-09-13* I will preface by saying I love this app. I used it all the time prior to the 16.6 update. But even with the current IOS update 16.6.1 that just released, it has completely stopped working. It originally stopped working in July when 16.6 first came out. As soon as I open the app, it closes. I would really appreciate a fix as the app doesn’t even work anymore. This app deserves a 5 star but many months without an update to fix the issue, is a bit disheartening. I will change my review once it’s fixed! ### 1/5 — Very Good *2021-02-01, version 1.6.1* Excellent App but I’d love more options for the background and more sticker options too. I do not think it’s worth the price you pay for the pro if the sticker options are so limited without the ability to use different blend styles with them. I also cannot ‘move to front’ any sticker I add. I have to pick stickers in the order in which I want them layered. Not the best app. I expected a little too much. ### 1/5 — It won’t even show me templates or make an account *2020-11-10, version 1.6.1* My friend told me great things about this app, and I was really excited to download it but it doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t let me make an account, or even see templates. I don’t know how to work it because it’s in another language so I don’t know what to do when messages pop up, if anyone could help me that would be very much appreciated :) ### 1/5 — More options *2020-06-28, version 1.6.0* I love this app so much I can make really good collages that look really nice! But there’s very limited options in order to have a purple background you have to be on premium which I think is absolutely ludicrous!!! On some colors there’s like no stickers at all. But I have been able to get ZERO help and there is ZERO resources. I was excited to use this app as I work in social media but I can’t access it. I have restarted my phone and redownloaded the app countless of times. I even reset my whole phone! Customer service is useless as it’s just a robot. All it says is that my data can’t be accessed and that I may be “unlogged” so I need to register. Which I try to but it doesn’t take me anywhere. It is completely stagnant! ### 2/5 — Limited *2020-09-01, version 1.6.1* I think this app is only for people who use Instagram a lot. There are some nice graphics etc but it’s not possible to adjust the size or shape of the finished design. Also there doesn’t seem to be an option to just put text and clips on a plain canvas. You have to choose a photo. I was hoping it would be useful for posters, cards etc but it isn’t really. ### 2/5 — Pictures doesn't appear on templates and the app keeps on shutting down! *2020-07-16, version 1.6.0* I uninstalled the app several times,refreshed my phone,as it was not working and kept on shutting down,still doesn't work properly! Pictures doesn't show up on the templates aswell!!! Please fix this issue asap I look forward to use this app without any troubles. ### 2/5 — Not for English Members *2019-03-25, version 1.3.0* Great & beautiful templates, but def NOT for USA or English designers. Only 3 fonts can be used in English. Others are Asian languages. Also not enough options... hard to crop and rotate pics. Sad shame, as these are some of the prettiest templates I’ve seen so far. Deleting my 1 week free trial.. hopefully they’ll update and gear more towards the rest of the world one day! I’ll def be back if they do! :) ### 3/5 — Worked, not anymore. *2023-02-22, version 1.7.6* It worked for a good while, unfortunately it doesn’t work any longer. I contacted the developer to no avail. I just deleted the app (losing my templates I guess), but that did not fix it either. Less than a week later, this past Wednesday, the Nichi app developers sent out a new app update and as of today, the glitch seems to have been completely fixed! Just wanted to write another review saying a quick thank you! 💛 Everything seems to be running smoothly. I really appreciate the quick and helpful response/update. :) 5 stars from me! ### 5/5 — AMAZING!!!! *2022-09-12, version 1.7.6* At first when I opened the app I thought “Great I have to get premium to have the full experience.” I didn’t get premium so when I started using it I realized you can do basically anything without premium. So you can have a great time with this app without having to pay. I completely recommend especially if you are a digital artist or even a scrapbooker. Great if you also want custom wallpapers. Best app ever I am obsessed!!! ### 5/5 — -read before you get the app!- *2022-08-22, version 1.7.6* I was looking for a aesthetic app for my wallpaper, and Nichi sounded good, so I downloaded it. Most apps I download you have to pay for them, and get trials, but Nichi is a really Great app and I totally recommend it if you want to make a collage or just a simple wallpaper. It is optional to pay or get premium but it’s not one of those apps where you have to get it. A majority of the things that they give you are free. I literally use this app so frequently and I can make my own wallpapers custom.
