## What is Nickel?

Nickel is a calm puzzle that turns mental math into a game. Add coins together, make a dollar, clear the board.

Coins from 1¢ to 9¢ land on a 4×4 board. Swipe to slide every coin at once. Two coins join when their total ends in 0 or 5: 4¢ + 6¢ makes 10¢, 7¢ + 8¢ makes 15¢, 25¢ + 35¢ makes 60¢. Nothing adds past a dollar, so an 80¢ can only take 20¢ or less. Make exactly $1 and that coin leaves the board with a satisfying burst.

MATH FLUENCY, WITHOUT THE WORKSHEET
Every swipe is quick addition. You'll start spotting number bonds to 10 at a glance, counting on by fives, and finding the missing piece that makes 100. It's good practice for young learners building their math facts, and a relaxing way for grown-ups to keep mental arithmetic sharp.

WHY PLAYERS LIKE IT
• One simple rule with real choices on every move
• Builds number sense: pairs to 10, counting by 5s, making 100
• Tiles from 50¢ up show how much they still need, so you learn as you play
• Smooth animations that keep up with fast swipes
• Undo a move, or take a second chance when the board fills up
• No timers and no account; your best score is saved on your device

Add in fives. Make a dollar. Clear the board, one coin at a time.
