It does not have many functions and screens, but therefore it is simple, fast and comes with a huge word and sound database. Compared to the standard edition of "Nifty Words", this pro edition has additionally included over 30000 sounds of spoken English words. Nur eins von vielen Beispielen ist „seizure“. Die Lautschrift ist korrekt, aber der Ton nicht. Bei „seismic“ ist das s am Anfang stimmlos. Das ist in der Lautschrift korrekt. Im Audio-Beispiel ist es aber stimmhaft. Von einer Pro-Version erwarte ich mehr. Im Zweifelsfall lieber kein Audio als eins mit völlig falscher Aussprache. ### 1/5 — Aussprache nach Update komplett falsch!!! *2020-01-26, version 2.1.0* Liebe App-Entwickler. Was habt ihr denn mit der Aussprache angestellt?! Ich bin selbst Englischlehrer und noch vor einiger Zeit hatte ich nichts auszusetzen. Heute habe ich mir nach einiger Zeit mal wieder ein Wort vorsprechen lassen - grauenvoll. Daraufhin andere probiert - taugt bestenfalls als Erheiterung. Probiert mal „knight“ oder „knives“... Bitte unbedingt wieder alten Zustand herstellen! ### 5/5 — Wird täglich genutzt! *2018-11-25, version 2.1.0* Schnelle und gute Nutzung möglich, da die App auch offline funktioniert! Slang Wörter wären noch super, wenn man sie finden würde! Ich kann die App nur empfehlen, eine bessere habe ich nicht gefunden! ### 2/5 — Sprachausgabe funktioniert nicht mehr *2018-05-17, version 2.1.0* Die Sprachausgabe funktioniert seit dem letzen Update nicht mehr. ### 3/5 — Aussprache *2018-01-28, version 2.1.0* ....an sich ist die App sehr gut. Die Eingabe von 3 Buchstaben öffnen die Trefferliste aus EN sowie DE Wörtern. Kein umständliches Umschalten auf DE oder EN, was andere App erfordern. Ich schätze die App auch, weil sie sehr schnell startet, einfach in der Bedienung ist, und als offline Programm findet man so gut wie alle Wörter. Perfekt für kurze, schnelle und einfache Wortübersetzung DE<>EN Ein Punkt Abzug weil nach Programmstart kann man nicht sofort eingeben, sondern muss erst das Suchfeld aktivieren damit die Eingabe-Tastatur erscheint. Schade, ansonsten perfekt. Ich denke zur "Normal"-Version ist kein Unterschied. ### 5/5 — Endlich! *2017-06-26, version 2.1.0* Nach langem Warten endlich die aktualisierte App! Für mich gibt es kein besseres digitales Wörterbuch - schnell, übersichtlich, leicht zu bedienen, ohne überflüssigen Schnickschnack und mit einem umfassenden Wortschatz ausgestattet. Die individuelle Stimmenauswahl bei der Sprachausgabe ist einfach klasse! 5 Sterne!! Danke! ✌️🙃 M. Schindler Update: Nach dem neuesten Update funktioniert die Sprachausgabe nicht mehr!
