## What is Night Falls on Palermo?

The app deals the secret roles for Palermo, the Greek take on Mafia. Then it can run the game.
One phone for the whole table. It narrates the night, takes the vote and says who won.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add everyone playing. From 4 to 30.
2. Pick the roles, or take the ones the app suggests.
3. Pass the phone around. Each player holds their own name to see their role.
4. Put the phone in the middle and tap “Start”.
5. For another game, hold “Play again”.

The phone remembers the names for next time.

THE PHONE RUNS THE GAME

• At night it narrates out loud, in Greek or English.
• The killers wake up and pick their victim on the phone. Then the Doctor picks who to save. No sound, no vibration.
• In the morning it says who died. By day it takes the vote: hands up, or secret on the phone.
• At the end it says who won and shows everyone’s role.

Want one of you to narrate? Turn the voice off in Settings: the lines show on screen, to be read out. Or choose “Roles only”: the app deals the roles and you do the rest. Whoever narrates can mark on the Table who is out.

THE NINE ROLES

Town
• Citizen: no power. Talks and votes.
• Policeman: knows who the Snitch is.
• Doctor: saves one player each night.
• Red Kamikaze: if voted out by day, takes one player along.
• Black Kamikaze: if killed at night, takes one player along.

Killers
• Red Killer: kills at night with the Black Killer. The Snitch knows who it is.
• Black Killer: kills at night with the Red Killer. Nobody else knows who it is.
• Snitch: knows the Red Killer and covers for them.

Alone
• Paranoid: wins alone if voted out on the first day, or killed on the second night. Otherwise, they’re with the town.

The app also shows the rules.

FREE, WITH ADS

The app is free. It shows an ad once everyone has seen their role, and when you play again. Never while the phone goes round, and never during a game. One payment removes the ads for good.

Works offline, with no account. Greek and English.

YOUR NAMES STAY ON THE PHONE

It keeps five things on the phone: the list of players, the current deal, the game in progress, your settings and the names saved from earlier games. They are never sent anywhere. On Players, hold the list icon at the top to remove the list, the deal and the game. Hold a saved name to forget it, or hold the bin to forget them all. Deleting the app removes everything.

Each player holds their own name to see their role.

In Settings: the voice, the vote and the Doctor’s rules. Or “Roles only”: you mark on the Table who is out.
