Night Night by StoryHero is a bedtime story app for children ages 2 to 8. Open it, tap a story, and your child is listening within seconds. The stories are pre-made. Nothing to generate, configure, or prompt at 8pm when you're already tired. You open the app, pick a story, and it plays. Your child can read along too. Each story has a narrator reading it gently with matching character voices, ambient visuals that shift as the story moves, and layered background music. Every story can also be played in Music Mode featuring a lullaby written and composed specifically for that story's world and characters, with a gentle slideshow of the story's artwork. Stories are organised into storyworlds. Each world has its own look, sound, and recurring characters. Kids who return to the same world settle faster because it already feels familiar. The library is curated and grows over time. YOUR ADVENTURES At the end of every story, families can create a personalised Adventure, a unique chapter that places their child, a family member, or even the family pet directly into the story. Find it in the storyworld switcher on the home screen. • Visual Fullscreen: in reading mode, tap the expand icon at the bottom of any chapter image to enter Visual Fullscreen. The artwork fills the screen with a frosted blur background while narration continues uninterrupted. Tap anywhere to exit back to reading. • Caption layout: the word-by-word caption display now reserves the correct height for the current line, preventing text from clipping behind the player controls. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-01 New in v1.1.0: • Storyworld switcher: the storyworld selector on the home screen has been redesigned. It now opens automatically every session so you can always see what worlds are available. Tap the header bar to expand or collapse — the rest of the page pushes down smoothly beneath it. • Synced captions: stories that support it now have a closed-captioning button (CC) in the reading toolbar.
