## What is Nightglass?

Step outside, look up, and start discovering.

Nightglass is a relaxing stargazing game where you explore a real night sky through your own telescope. Pan across the stars, lock onto faint lights, and hold steady as each one slowly comes into focus. Is it a planet? A distant galaxy? A comet? You won't know until you look.

DISCOVER THE REAL UNIVERSE
Nearly 200 real objects to find, from the Moon and Saturn's rings to the Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy and rare deep-sky wonders. Every discovery comes with true facts about what you're seeing.

STUDY AND MASTER
Observe objects again to raise their study level and unlock new facts. Fill your catalog and master every corner of the sky.

UPGRADE YOUR GEAR
Start with a small backyard telescope and work your way up to bigger scopes, steadier mounts and cameras that reveal what your eyes alone can't.

A LIVING NIGHT SKY
Every night is different. Moon phases, drifting clouds, dew and mountain wind all change what you can see. Catch shooting stars, and watch for the space station, Starlink trains and other surprises passing overhead.

A JOURNEY ACROSS THE WORLD
Begin in your backyard, escape to the dark countryside, and travel to the high mountains of Chile, home of the world's great observatories.

MADE TO RELAX
Gentle music, peaceful night sounds, and no timers rushing you. Play for two minutes or two hours.

No ads, ever. The Backyard and Countryside are free to play. Unlock the Full Journey to explore every observing site, now and in future updates.
