Nihongo UGuru is a Japanese learning app for people who work and live in Japan.
From JLPT preparation to the Japanese you need every day - sorting rubbish,
greetings, getting around - learn it all through video lessons and drills.

Study level-based courses with subtitles. Two-line subtitles in English and
Japanese (with furigana) let you check anything you missed right away.

Exercises written by Japanese-language teachers, as many times as you need.
Multiple-choice and written answers are supported, with instant marking.

Flip through cards to build the vocabulary you actually use on the job.

■ Built to keep you going
Earn points for logging in and studying every day. Your login streak and
progress are always visible, so you can keep going at your own pace.

■ Works offline
Save videos to your device and study even where there is no signal.

Bug fixes.

- Fixed images not appearing in blog posts. Thumbnails in the list, the header image, and photos inside the article now display correctly.
- Photos placed in announcements now display as well.
- Prize photos are now shown for prize draws.
- Fixed headings inside articles being the same size as body text.
- Fixed numbered lists showing bullets instead of numbers.
- Fixed embedded videos in articles not being shown at all.

This update focuses on reviewing what you have studied, and on making the app easier to read.

- Added "Sorted cards". Review the cards you marked as Got it, Not yet, or Favorite, grouped by category.
- Added selectable books. Use a ticket to choose one book and read it inside the app.
- Points you earn are now announced with a treasure chest, including any you missed.
- Links in announcements and blog posts can now be opened by tapping them.
- Tidied up the course screen. Lessons without a video are hidden, and free drills are listed first.
- Reworked the plan comparison table: ten items, shown in all three languages.
- Fixed a problem where replay videos would not play.
- Flashcards now show example sentences and images on the back, with a flip animation.
- Switching the display language now applies to study content as well.
- You can save your sign-in details on your device, and you stay signed in longer.
