### 1/5 — Needs updated again

*2013-05-06*

I just updated it a few days ago and now it won't load. It immediately shuts down when opened. It was working awesome before the update. Please fix now!!

### 1/5 — App won't load or run

*2013-04-12, version 1.6.9*

This app will not load or run. Initial screen flashes and the app shuts down. The scope is awesome. The app is not ready for prime time. Sad.

### 1/5 — Should be free

*2013-02-03*

I agree with previous reviews in the fact that it should be free if you buy the scope. I also bought this ap on my ipad and now have to pay again just to put it on my iPhone as well. I will probably never bring my ipad shooting with me, so this kind of makes it useless. There is no way I am paying twice.

### 1/5 — Only iPad and not iPhone

*2012-04-08*

Come on Nikon. Most apps I purchase for iPad work on iPhone. I bought this for iPad and now can't take it in the field unless I take my iPad with me? I can't even believe this. The app should be free anyway. Especially since I just bought a M-233 scope.

### 1/5 — software flaws!

*2011-08-26*

Great concept, A ton of ammo/caliber/optic combo's. Of the bat the ammo i fire a lot 53gr Hornady Balistic isn't listed. And more importantly the app doesn't work!!!! When you set your zero and target distance the app changes them to random settings. Lame!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2019-01-22*

This app crashes when I try to use the wind meter. Please fix and actually test this app.

### 1/5 — Pull it or Fix it

*2019-01-01*

This is pure corporate fraud at this point. Nikon continues to advertise the app as a feature of its scopes, but cannot make it work any longer. It was great over a year ago, but it’s clear they can’t make it work. Nikon will not return emails or calls regarding the app and their CS is useless! Apple needs to pull this app from the platform as Nikon SpotOn is not functional on the iPad or iPhone.

### 1/5 — Nikon Spot On App

*2018-12-20*

### 1/5 — Still locking up

*2018-12-06*

I use this app on my phone and it works. Not so much on the iPad keeps locking up STILL! Get your crap together and fix it.

### 1/5 — Keeps locking up

*2018-11-17*

Great idea .....but it locks up after you run the program one time. I have to delete the app and reinstall. Pls fix!!!!!

### 1/5 — Sad

*2015-08-28, version 2.2.8*

What happened, as I got older. I wanted to make things simple and I found Spot-on ........man this was it ....... And now ......what happened .....makes me sad : (

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2013-07-30, version 2.1.8*

Great app! I am a loyal Nikon customer,
I own:
Nikon P510 camera,
P223 3X scope,
Monarch 4-16X40 scope,
Prostaff 3-9X40 scope,
Pro staff rim-fire 3-9X40 scope

The app worked for the first few months, now it will attempt to load only to kick me out immediately.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon as I look forward to using this app again....

Please fix or refund me!
Thanks!

### 1/5 — BPlas

*2013-07-20*

Don't bother buying this APP!!!! I purchased the app 3 months ago and it doesn't load. Starts up then shuts off!! If It was given a 1-10 it would rank a high "0". Come on Nikon fit the problem or drop this app.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2013-07-06*

The first version worked perfectly. The updates have been a disaster. It closes in less than one second. I wrote Nikon App. support and was told to upgrade my OS (already done) and then to reload app. If this did not work ... referred to ITunes Support. I am very disappointed in Nikon for this junk. Hopefully not a sign of new company standards as I have been a long time Nikon fan and customer for both Sport Optics and Photographic Equipment (the only non-USA company I have regularly supported.)

### 1/5 — Doesnt work n 5.1.1

*2013-05-29*

Love the scope...hate this app...closes after about a second. It's been a month and no updates or fixes from Nikon. Somebody should be fired for this crap. I thought the Japanese manufacturers had more honor than this.

### 5/5 — Worked perfect

*2019-12-13*

Worked perfectly

### 5/5 — Handy tool!!

*2016-03-12*

I love this app!! Yes it has some bugs that Weren't an issue many years ago, but it is so simple, it is the only one that's this user friendly and this high quality. Some bugs you'll experience... when you select a different ammo, it will exit out of the app and bring you to the home screen. Another bug is that all the ammo isn't in alpha order for all brands of ammo. If they fix those things, I would pay $20 for the app without question.

### 5/5 — BDC Scope

*2012-08-18*

Make sure you have this if you have a nikon BDC scope A must have.

### 4/5 — Works For Me on My Ipad

*2020-02-01*

Seems to work just fine.

### 4/5 — Beginners only!

*2015-07-06*

I wrote a previous review which was pretty lengthy. Apparently it wasn't approved of and deleted. I will make this short and sweet.

The iPad app interface is clean and straightforward. Drop-down menus scroll smoothly. According to Nikon, you should be able to use this app without a Internet/Wi-Fi connection.

The hold over and BDC charts are pretty nifty. The beginner should really appreciate this.

My biggest complaint: once you enter your information and zero with a particular round, the app will not adjust if you switch to a different brand of ammunition. For example, you zero using Hornady ammunition, but two days later you decide to switch to Remington while hunting varmint. The app has no way to compensate for switching ammunition.

This app is great for the nova shooter, but a complete waste of five dollars for anyone else. This should be nothing more than a $.99 app.

### 4/5 — Pure unadulterated JUNK!!!

*2014-07-20*

This assumes that the AR -15 always comes with 20" barrel the VAST majority come with 16"'. Nikon's bad so the tables are useless I want a refund!! My new nikon scope
isn't even listed Mega heavy duty do NOT recommend the App Store erased my 1st review because thy know no more would be sold to anyoone that reads my review

### 4/5 — Handy shooting tool

*2012-01-02*

It works pretty good and the reticle view is very helpful with the bdc reticles. If I could store more than one rifle then it would be a 5 star product. Hopefully that will be in an update in the future.

### 3/5 — Just designed for Nikon Scopes

*2011-06-20*

It's nice but only designed for use w/ Nikon Scopes. I haven't used in the field yet but looks good.
